"The Edge Evolution helped my truck alot overall but what it did for my trans was even better than I expected. It shifts so much better and I was about to buy another trans thats how bad it was. Now it shifts like a new one. THANKS ALOT!! Randy"

"When I bought it I was just wanting to turn off the speed limiter but I got much more. Now it runs so much better Im now outrunning the big v8 engines. Where it was stalling when I floored it now it downshifts and quickly and pulls hard in all gears. It looks very nice on my dash plus Im getting about 40 more miles per tank. I researched all the programmers for my truck and the edge gave it the most in horsepower and torque. I highly recommend it for the 4.8 engine. William Aycock"

"It took me longer to get the Edge out of the box than it did to install it. 15 minutes after starting I started the shift program,and it went smooth. Couldn't ask for a better programmer."

"I'm really anal when it comes to purchasing things, so I did about two weeks worth of research on programmers for my 2001 Ford F-150 Supercrew with the 5.4 L engine. All the reviews and opinions keep coming back to the Edge. Bought it and it was here the next day. Took about 15 minutes to install and reprogram the computer. Started at 87 Tow mode and WOW what a difference. All the erratic downshifting is gone, pulls the hills much better. Next went to the performance mode and was even more impressed. Seriously made it into another vehicle the way it performs now. 100% satisfied. A great product, and great service from Auto Anything! Don't wait any longer, just buy it, you won't be disappointed"

"Edge really did it with this one, installing anything in the middle of winter is usually a pain, but this was a 15 minute simple install. After running a few tanks with it in economy setting my MPG did gain 3+ (Highway with your foot out of it I got up to 20MPG)with better performance. Now the extreme setting expect to lose MPG but hold on for the ride. Excellent product I would recommend it to anyone with the 6.0 PSD, that wants better drive ability and doesn't want to push the motor too hard. Also all the features and gauges are very nice to have, ease of use "simplest programmer I ever had". Note: If you can keep the boost below 10Psi your mileage is excellent for this size truck."

"Very easy to install took about 10 minutes. First time I updated Evolution it locked up and had to call tech support to revert back to previous version no problem now. Level 3 is the best level for me even though you have to use 91 octain plus but the extra 2 MPG makes up for the higher price of gas. Excellent powers increse, smoother shifting transmission. It does everything it claims to do. Cold air intake and flowmaster exhaust just complement it. Great product!"

"The Edge gets a lot of flack from people, but so far I have been happy. My truck is used as a daily driver and towing our 36' 5th wheel. I have not had it on the highest setting, but the "Tow" program seems to be right on. The second stage is a little high on the EGT's. Overall, I'm happy."

"I have a 2008 Silverado 4x4 with 35” tires. Pros: Very good product, good price, easy ordering process and excellent delivery time. The installation was easy (less than 30-minutes) and I was able to recalibrate my tires, which allowed for accurate MPH and MPG. In the economy mode I am getting better MPG. I have not driven enough miles to determine the final average MPG. I have purposely stayed away from the performance mode since I bought this product to get better gas mileage. Cons: I have a later model dash. I was not aware until the Edge package arrived at my home and started reading the instructions that I needed to order, from Edge, a later model pod mount (the early model pod mount is shipped automatically). It took an additional week to receive the new pod mount (no cost or shipping), which meant I could not install the product for an additional week (very frustrating seeing it sitting on my kitchen table and not on my dash). When I contacted the auto anything rep. the individual stated they did not know there was an early and late model option for the mount. Finally, the software does not operate with MS Vista 32-bit (just be aware). You have to use an older version of MS (XP, Windows 2000, etc.) to run the software. When I spoke with the Edge rep. the individual indicated that a software update (Vista 32-bit) is not planned for the future. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase. The pod mount and software were the only downside of the purchase."

"I put the edge evolution on my 05 f150 with 4.6 and 3.55 gears and it has done a lot for performance and fuel economy.I will now spin 35" tires like they were the stock 235s"

"I wanted a little more power for towing,but really have not pulled my travel trailer yet.I like the fact that now I will know my transmission temp while towing.The mount was junk and won't stay put,I ended up getting a mount that places it right above my rear veiw mirror."

"The Evolution is a really neat product. If it did nothing other than act a multifunction gage, then it would be worth every penny. But, it also has program levels that wake up the potential of your truck. On Level 3, the truck screams. Plus, I increased mileage going to and from work almost 2 mpg! The install took about an hour. The hardest part was drilling and tapping the exhaust manifold for the EGT probe. The dash mount fits great and looks almost like it came from GM. I had a bad EGT probe out of the box but Edge had a new one to me within a week, including postage paid return of the old part. Great product and great service are rare today. Edge provided both!"

"The Edge Programmer was very easy to install. It looks great, and I like the ease of use. It has a lot of programable options and many variables that can be customized. I noticed an increase in power with level 2 and a bigger increase with level 3. The acceleration and shifting are both really noticable. I would reccomend this product."

"It took all of 10 minutes to install and get up and running Immediate notice of off Idle pick up, MPG increase after 4 tanks of gas seems to helped by about 2 mpg city and hwy. Torque and HP has definatley improved. I have only run it on the #2 Towing setting. Highly recommend this product, great addition to the F-150 and looks factory.If the Dash piece does not match you can easily spray it to match with some vinyl paint from the Auto parts store."

"I have had the evolution for a month now its great thou it seems hard on my truck .I am back to stock i have used all 3 levels dont like tacking out my rpms and it seems 2 shift a little too hard. The good thing about this programmer is you can moniter your truck vital signs makes it worth buying it if you dont like the caned programes"

"Ford should have built their F-150 this way in the first place. What a hoot! Better all around performance plus improved gas milage. Shift point changes are excellent, towing improvements - impressive. Fuel economy (when you keep your foot away from the fun arena - 16mpg in town & you can get 18mpg at 1,800RPM (just under 70mph). The folks at Edge did a great job of engineering the custimization options & straight up box features. If you elect to just plug & go (about 20 minutes) you will be happy as a clam. I have the K&N cold air kit also & together these 2 changes have uniquely, placed steroids into a now Performance oriented 300+HP 5.4litre engine."

"Could not ask for an easier instal,(less than 30 min)and looks great. Could suply more double sided tape for the pod. Over all can notice gains in power and the trans shifts better. Pulled a tri-axle trailer today loaded with an ash tree I cut and could feel the diff. MPG does not change much for the better, but for the gains you would expect to use more!"

Thats why I bought one of my own because of how much more horsepower you recieve and how much fun it is to run it in the truck. "I love my new Edge programmer, it would be better if before you bought it if they told you that you had to run a higher octane fuel for stage 3 of the programmer, other than that it has gotten me 2-3 more miles to the gallon. I love the way it looks and how easy it was to install, everyone that looks at it says it looks factory. I recommed this Edge programmer to anyone that is thinking of buying one. It was a great Christmas gift to recieve."

"I immediately realized 3+ more MPG. Also, was able to finally correct the speedometer error due to oversize tires, verified by my GPS. That's one that almost got me into trouble a few times. What puts this unit above the others, is that it is very easy to switch from fuel economy mode to power mode; essential for towing heavy loads, then switching back to normal driving. If you do need support, you'll actually get someone who speaks English & really does know what they are talking about. Go For It !!!"
