Description

This advanced tuner modifies both gas and diesel burners for optimum performance. The Evolution delivers double-digit horsepower and torque gains on gas models; diesel rigs blister the blacktop with triple dividends. Notes

  • Flex Fuel Vehicles: fueling with E85 is not recommended in conjunction with your Edge Evolution unit. Burning E85 reduces efficiency and power compared to using gas, which nullifies the effect of Edge Evolution's programming.

"This thing looks great! The color of gray on the dash pod is only slightly off but close enough that its not worth repainting. I believe they also have a black pod and I imagine that would have matched my black Int. better but you cant choose the pod color. For the amount of power gains you get for your money, this blows and exhaust system or cold air intake out of the water everytime! they say 35HP gains in Performance but thats with there tune, you can custom tune it with higher octane fuels and get a great deal more power. *Hint* Av-Gas gets great HP when you really advance the spark, but its illegal to use in cars if you caught. The monitors are great for when your towing a heavy trailor and you can firm the shift points up like crazy! I've never gone past 12 and I know it will go to High 20's at least. Premium gas makes a lot more sense to buy when you have this thing since you can advance your spark and get greater power out of it for the same amount of gas as regular. Helped me get back my power loss by putting on big muddin tires to go with my lift. My Reccomendation? Before you buy your exhaust/CAI/Supercharger/Turbocharge/whatever look into one of these, best HP:$ ratio"

"Brings the 6 liter to life low end,mid range and diffently high end.Increases mpg if you can stand to drive for mileage.(I am having problems with lead foot syndrome)"

"Bought the Edge Evolution for my 06 F-150 Harley because of the features & the fact it has a monitor that I could keep track of various parameters not measured in cab. Comparatively speaking, I felt like I got a good price. After registering the product via the internet & down loading the latest update, per the included instructions, I installed the unit in my truck. Level 2, Tow mode, and a firmer shift seems to really make a diff. Looks to be getting 2 miles more per gallon more and (strickly by the seat of the pants feel)it now has more torque and faster pick up. Feels pretty good! I'd diffinately recommend this product!"

"bought the programmer to enhance the air intake and exhuast system that was already installed. Did notice a good low end and high end improvement although not much in the mid range. Gas mileage increased about 1 mile a gallon."

"I love the response this gave my 2007 4.8 liter chevy silverado 1500, I didnt like my truck and wanted to trade it for 5.3 but know it feels like a 5.3 and gets the same or better gas mileage. I loved the fact I ordered it on monday night and it was at my house on wednesday. I tested it tough I pulled a 25 foot travel trailer and loaded a suzuki 700 four wheeler and drove to the uinta mountains I flew through the canyons I was only getting 5 mpg. on the hills while I was pulling but 18 mpg. on the flats deffenetly worth the money I would and have been recomending it to every one. If your debating it just do it and you wont regret it. thanks autoanything for the quick delivery."

"I noticed the change immediately. Right now I am looking at about a 2 mpg increase from my f150. Never had any problem towing my 14' trailer to start with, but now the truck shifts better and accelerates better than ever. Coupled with the great service from auto anything, my total buying experience was awesome!"

"I put this on my 04' FX4 it was between this and the superchips and this has a display and have to say I think it worked I feel more throttle response and a little more power. i tried out the 0-60 mph option and got just under 8 seconds which may not be fast but it is a 5000lb truck. I do not know what I was averaging mpg before install but it got up to almost 17 mpg on the interstate on mod 3. I did not get a chance to play around with the options to much since I did not know what changing shift points would do but I will play with them one day and it can only get better I would think. I would recommend this product"

"I Purchased this programmer for my 06 F250 with the 6.0L Powerstroke. A 4 year old could probobly install this unit without much hassle. The fit and finish is about a 8/10 since the pod doesn't quite conform 100% to the dash. Here's what you should be aware of if you have a 6.0L F250. If you or a previous owner ever had a different programmer on the vehicle it is quite possible you will need to have the PCM flashed or send the PCM in to Edge to have the correct non-factory files in the computer. Make sure you contact Edge tech support if you have any issues as they are helpful and friendly(they really know their products). I needed to send my PCM to Edge to have them reconfigure the stock program before the Evolution would work. Edge paid for next day business with UPS so I was without the truck for only 3 days. The programmer, now that it is operational is an excellent device. Fuel Economy mode increased fuel economy 1-2 MPG's(I also installed an intake) and the Extreme setting has the power to roast the tires off."

"The EEP made a great difference for anyone looking for a little more performance without trying to blow up a transmission. I have it on level 1 and have more than I need for my F250 Power Stroke when pulling the boat....5000lbs. Great product at a great price!!!! "
