"Instantly noticed the firm change in the shifting. Awesome. Last of Mods. H-PAC accompanies 2 Flowmasters-true dual w/ 4" tips, Airaid intake, 8" lift, 35" Mickey's. Much better pedal reaction, gained 2 mpg on first tank. from 13 to 15 mpg. I wasn't kind to the pedal either. Looking forward to pulling my camper and really testing it. Still haven't tested the Drag Tree or messed with rev limiter to much. Need to get the most out of the H-PAC. Great Product and Auto Anything had it delivered on time. Alot of views to choose from on the screen. Screen has a day and night mode."

"I have a 2002 5.3L Chevy Silverado 1500. The HyperPac installed in minutes, plug in with vehicle off, and follow instructions on screen. The transmission firmness option is awesome, and you can feel it immediately. The only issue I had was with 1-2 gear shift RPMs once I programed the truck for "Regular" power tuning, when you romped on it the RPMs would jump and fluctuate but not shift into 2 until you let off the gas and got back on it. I increase the RPM Rev Limiter, and this solved the problem. Everything else is awesome. Great product, would recommend to anyone."

"I took the Hyperpac on my first long trip in the truck and in Stage 1 I got 16mpg in optimal interstate conditions. On the way home I put it into Stage 2 and got about 15mpg. The truck has under 10k miles so I am not quite getting the best mpg yet. Also I haven't done anything else to the truck so I am not getting the 20mpg that they claimed on the episode of Extreme 4x4 with the same truck. Hope to get a litttle closer to that 20 mark with the addition of a cold air intake.
This is my first Desiel so I am not used to driving one yet and that may have something to do with not getting the 20mpg. I don't get the 40mpg in my hybrid honda that my mom gets in the same car so alot of it may have to do with my driving."

"Very easy installation, appearance, price and current quality. Overall rating is good, despite all the advertised adjustments were not applicable to the Silverado SS truck [like aftermarket intake, exhaust, etc]. Dynamometer does not effectively gauge horsepower (not nearly as close as I think it should). The Hyperpac wasn't even an offered item for this truck on their website. However, it does increase torque and the shift adjustment could be felt as well."

"My only problem in installing was trying to get under the dash - at 70 years old and arthritis it was not doable - but I have a great neighbor and it took him less than a minute. Once the cable was hooked up the set up was a breeze and the programming went fast and easy. Lots of help from Auto anything where I purchased it and some help from Hypertech but thei responses were slow."

"Overall, I am happy with this. Purchased to save fuel more than anything. Before, ave MPG was 15.6 on highway driving only in truck. After installation, improved to 16.5. Towing 16' trailer with a car on it (stage 2) averaged 15.1 MPG. Not too bad. Easy installation. Display is somewhat pixelated viewing gages, but provides turbo boost and other monitors not available in stock truck."

"The Hyperpac was able to fix my speedometer and odometer issues relating to my larger tires and 4.10 final drive ratio. The performance tuner on my 2002 Mustang GT was only for premium gas, but made a noticeable difference in performance and engine smoothness. All of the menus are intuitive and the programs provide plenty of information. Overall, a good purchase if you're looking for a programmer/performance meter combo."

"Jamie-
I recently purchased the Hyperpac and could not wait to install it. The installation was a breeze and the difference is noteable. I have a Chevy Silverado 5.3 with 35" tires and the hyperpac helped to return the factory muscle with a few extra ponies. It is no problem to spin the tires with a kick of the throttle. The hyperpac displays all the major readings from the vehicle such as coolant temp, intake temp, and trans. temp. My personal favorite is the exact reading of fuel quantity. Once the gas light comes on you know exactly how far you have until empty. I would recommend this product, it is a good programmer with more features than you could ever hope to fully explore. It has plenty of bells and whistles to excite and entertain."

"I looked around alot before I finally decided to by the Hyperpac, and Im happy I did that. All the other tuning devices (SCT, Diablosport, etc etc) had their good functions, but not that proved to be as good as the Hyperpac, it really delivers as promised, good effect gain and good gain in gas milage.
Im very happy with this device!!
But most of all, Im happy with Authoanything!!!! The service was outstanding, the best internetshopping site, all categories!!!
Thanks!

"I think that the hyperpac is a great investment. Because of all the other features other than giving your truck 1.5sec. 0 to 60 time increse and the firmer more positive shifts. But not only doing that it also increses the fuel mileage a little bit. This was the best mod that I purchesed out of cold air intake and exhauste. As far as power and performance goes. So dont be affraid to splerge a little bit because its well worth it."

"Well, Installing the hyperpac was cake, and all of the features were easy to use, and the gauges and syno alone make it worth thr $500, but as far as being used to reprogram the enging for more power, that department is really lacking. all it has is one mode for regular and 1 mode for ultra gas, no options to install programing for changes to the motor, and no values to change. i couldnt tell a difference with the programing installed for the motor, except i got 11mpg instead of 14."

"I was a little disappointed with some of the features and maybe I missed something, but I felt the ads were a little misleading in that they boast of all the features available, but all the features are not available for every vehicle. I was able to find where the features were listed for each vehicle but it was after I has already purchased it. I also never saw where it said that all features weren't available for every vehicle. Having said all that, I would probably have bought it anyway."

"Just finished my 1st short trip since installing the Hyperpac. Using the level 1 performance programming the mileage increased a little over 2 MPG and the performance was noticeably improved. I can't wait to see how it performs at level 2 or 3 while towing the 5th wheel. This is everything I expected. I will, however, need to get the EGT module to keep an eye on things."

"I bought HyperPAC hoping to achieve some performance gains and for the various diagnostics programs it offers. Installation is simple and straightforward, uploading performance tunes takes less than 5 minutes. Performance gains are consistent with the dyno charts Hypetech has on their website - modest but noticeable. I tow a trailer and acceleration from standstill and throttle response are better. My benchmark is a steep grade on I-25 before Santa Fe. With the stock tune the rig tops at 50mph on 2nd; after installing the premium fuel tune I was able to take it at 60mph. With this tune engine seems to develop more hp after 4000rpm than with the stock tune. I also like the engine monitor program which allows me to check on transmission temp. I also used the dyno program but you need to weight your truck for accurate results. Regarding fuel economy, there seems to be a modest improvement (14.2 city vs. 13.9 with the stock tune on winter gas-ethanol mix). In sum, I find this product to be useful and fun to use but do not expect miracles."
