"the hyperpac fixed my odomoter, speedometer, tachometer, and transmission due to my aftermarket 22 inch chrome wheels wrapped around toyo proxes. i bought the hyperpac becuase i had my check engine light on after i installed a throttle body spacer under the hood. the diagnostics section doesn't quite solve problems but only tells you the code and leaves you to figure the rest out. my diagnostic trouble code reads "System too lean (Bank 2)." i'm hoping that it is just a leak in the air flow and it doesn't have to do with the actual air/fuel ratio. i am gonna disect my intake today and hopefully solve the problem. other than that, the hyperpac works like a champ. i need to construct my center console so i can mount the pac in a logical and efficient place."

"Pros - Excellent engine monitoring and test logging features. Noticed immediate improvement in drivability in my 2006 GMC Sierra Denali when performance tuning program loaded for premium fuel and first stage in transmission firmness. Acceleration from a standing start was excellent and crispness in shifts was noticable. So far I noticed a small improvement in fuel economy but expect that to improve after learning to use all capabilities of the unit.
Cons - No download to PC feature currently available to save and review engine monitoring features for analysis. Automotive knowledge or more explanatory info included in user manual is a must to be able to interpet abbreviated sensor acronyms (Add Legend).
Overall a winner of a product."

"Set up was a breeze. Immediately got an 80 HP increase. 1/4 mile time went from 17.91 to 15.78. Both of these with no adjustments to rev limiter or shift points. I expect that with adjustments to them the power increase will reach the advertised amount.
The gauge information was an added bonus. I burned out two E40D transmissions on my previous F-250 hauling too much weight after the temperature went through the roof. Being able to monitor this is worth the price."

"I installed the Hyperpac in my 2006 Dodge Ram 4x4 Mega Cab.The PAC was easy to install and navigate through the diffrent programs. My top speed limiter for 130 MPH when programmed vehicle will not start, but Hypertech is working with me to resolve the problem I have noticed almost 2 MPG increase. And alot of power increases."

"The HyperPAC was extremely easy to install. Mounting the display on the windshield is problematic as the sun washes it out badly. A hood would be a good option as would a dashboard mounting bracket . According to the reflashed computer, the MPG increases as the tuning level is increased. My first tank of fuel on level three indicated a 22 MPG average, but manual computations showed less than 20 MPG. Although I am happy with the MPG increase, the difference between the computer and manual computations is troubling. Lack of ability to further firm shifting and change top speed settings is something I only discovered after the fact. Torque converter lock-up is not as positive as needed and leads to disengagement when the terrain is rolling. Overall I am happy with my purchase, but with a couple of minor programing changes the HyperPAC could go from good to great."

"I am enjoying my new programer for my 2006 GT. I had already changed the axle backs and put in a new air charger, which the programer will program to. I also put on new performance wheels and rims (18's up front and 20' in the rear) gives it that retro profile I like. The programer only allows for one set of wheels, but that's fine. I'm still learning all there is to do with the programmer, but I love it. Love the fact that I can control many factor in my machine. I already used Hich octain, would be a sin if you didn't in such a machine, but it did bring my performance and gas miles a bit better. over all, I am pleased. PS...Love the touch screen!!!!"

"Installation was very easy. I love the dragstrip and dyno sections. I had a Diablo Predator but did not like the limited towing capabilities. The powerband on the Hyperpac is much smoother. I'm not crazy about the shift firmness. The transmissiom seems to hesitate between shifts. Over all I love the hyperpac. I would recommend it to anyone. I have used Hypertec products in the past, with good results."

"Hearing something and seeing it for yourself are generally two different things. I had some logistical problems in the beginning, however, the end result is that I feel as if I have a new truck! The difference in throttle response is amazing. I had been averaging 14MPG (mixed driving) and on the SAME tank it started climbing to 16 ~ 17MPG. I have not been able to get a full tank through, but there is already a significant difference.
Great product!"

"Excellent performance gains just on the regular fuel mode. I really felt the difference and I think it helped the intake and exhuast mods to perform better. I haven't had a chance yet to do a true dyno or drag run, so I can't comment on those features. The only drawback is that it doesn't shut itself off with the engine... on the third day of use I woke up to a dead battery."

"Without it, I would get 10mpg hauling my 30' travel trailer, and 17-18 without. At level 1, and K&N air filter, I got 12.5-14.5mpg on a 1500 mile trip to Mississippi, 70mph being the cutoff. Without the trailer, I'm sitting at 21.7mpg right now. Have yet to try level 2 or 3. Biggest drawback is visibility in bright light. The top of the dash may not be the best place, I may try under the console to avoid so much direct sunlight. At night, no problem at all. I would like to get EGT on mine though.
Gas savings alone should pay for itself in 18 months or less."
