"I did alot of research on the diesel forums prior to selecting the BD digital monitor. The main reason was the digital warning when approaching your preselected EGT limits. It's worth the higher price for the engine protection. I did all the wiring and post installation. The time consuming part was finding the high guage pink switched wire to T into my 2001 HD 2500 LB7. I'm not a welder, so I went to a Name Brand National Muffler shop to add the included bushing to my after turbo 4 inch down pipe. There 'Best' welder did a sloppy job of adding the bushing with layer after layer of solder on my 304 SS. It reads fine, but I don't know if it will last. ( I doubt they heated the SS up enough!)"

"his Monitor was very well thought out, and well engineered. The instillation went great. The only worry I had was Drilling into the Exhaust manafold, for EGT's. After that everything just pluged in. It reads just like it's supose to. Very happy!"

"Fairly easy to install, works great, easy to program and set the alarm values. Would be 5 stars with a more modern display with larger numbers and more brightness control. Very nice product."

"Pretty easy to install. I did have to weld the pyro in the downtube. Boost meter was a snap. Temperature meet uses stock sensor. I pulled a trailer through Death Valley in the middle of July (120 plus) and the alarms worked great. Gary"
