"Increaased power from 40-70 MPH. I am on my second tank of gas and I am seeing 2-3 MPG increase. I have a 2007 GMC Z71 and normally get 420 miles between fill ups. I got 443 miles on the first tank and I should get 450-460 on the second."

"Towing an 11000lb trailer with a F-250 it made a big differance for us. Our first travel attempt we did not have it and was also fighting a head wind; we turned around and came home cause we were worried about the engine over- reving at crawling speeds. This last trip was quite a distance and even though Interstate speeds are impossible, having the "reset" power at least kept us around 60-65mph on those that have the speed limit at 75."

"Used the Max Energy on Stage 1 and 2 prior to installing my lift kit and 37's and I couldn't tell much difference with Stage 1 over stock. When I went to Stage 2 I noticed the truck accelerated better, and once the RPM's get over 2000 the Max Energy really kicks in. Put the lift and 37's on and bumped the programmer to Stage 3. It made a big difference. The truck accelerates better than it did with stock/stage 1/stage 2 and 33" tires. I am very impressed with the ease of installation and the ability to adjust your speedometer for different tire sizes. I would definitely buy this product again!"

"What a change. Now it runs like a lincoln should. I noticed a real gain in mid range power and the shift improvement is very impressive too. As for gas mileage, not so good for me. But it sure makes driving a lot more fun.
I highly recomend it. Did more than I ever expected."

"Before purchasing the programmer, I contacted the Tech Services department to ask some questions about what I could expect performance wise. I explained that I use my Ford F-250 6.0 diesel primarily to haul an enclosed trailer and was mainly interested in fuel mileage since my truck already has plenty of towing power. I was told I could expect 2 - 3 MPG improvement on the Stage 3 setting. Well, I have driven my truck for about two tankfulls around town and about two tankfulls towing my trailer and have seen about 4 MPG increase whether around town or towing on the road. Obviously I couldn't be happier (well maybe if I was getting double the previous mileage!) wih the performance improvements I am seeing. At this rate and near $5/gallon, the Hypertech Max Energy Programmer will pay for itself in about 3000 miles!"

"I bought this for my husband for his birthday for our 2004 F250. We haul a 27' Fifth wheel trailer around for vacations and he wanted the programmer to help with towing power and gas mileage improvement. We took our first trip last week with the newly installed programmer and all he could say was "wow, this is great". It tremendously helped in the towing power of the trailer. Gas mileage stayed about the same, but the power was amazing."

"After several months of gathering info about a programmer for my 07 DuraMax LBZ, I finially settled on the Max Energy. With only 5000 miles on the truck, I was concerned about the effects it might cause down the road. After reading many reviews and comparing different products, I found Hypertech to be what I thought was the most and safest for the money. I just came off a 2500 mile vacation with the truck, and I must say it is everything that I thought it would be. Better fuel mileage by 1 - 1.5 mpg. As for performance, I installed stage 3 right out of the box, this thing kicks chickens! The only other power option I've added to the truck was a K&N Cold Air system."

"I PURCHASED THIS PROGRAMMER BECAUSE I WAS TOLD BY MY LOCAL FORD DEALERSHIP THAT THIS PROGRAMMER WOULD BE THE BEST FOR GAINING FUEL MILEAGE. THIS IS NOT THE CASE I AM MAYBE ONLY GAING A 1/2 MPG. I WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD HELP A LOT. I ALSO INSTALLED 5INCH EXHAUST AND A COLD AIR INTAKE SYSTEM TO HELP WITH THE MPG. I ALSO DON'T LIKE THAT IT TAKES SO LONG TO CHANGE PROGRAM BETWEEN STAGES. JAY"

"My battery died first time I hook this tuner up. My data link/cig lighter fuse was blown so that may have been part of the reason it drained my battery but not sure. Plus it was an original Ford battery from an '02. After putting a new fuse and battery everything worked well and it takes about 5 minutes to go through the menus and about 10 minutes to program it to your truck. Shift changes are stronger and full throttle shifts and the revs I jacked up a little to +200 and I hit near 5000 RPMs before changing gears. Fun to floor it but gas is so expensive right now. I have a K & N intake and dual flo exhaust."

"i feel like im driving a brand new truck. it added plenty of power and my instant MPG is showing a 25-40% increase. that's incredible considering you have to max out two credit cards just to fill up the tank with diesel. i did the math and this thing will pay for itself in less than four months. i own a landscape contracting company and have pulled over 12000 lbs with this thing and am still getting much better gas mileage. wouldn't hesitate to buy one for my next truck."

"Did exactly what they say!!! Corrected speedometer for oversized tires, increased 3 miles per gallon on fuel highway milege, did not see an increase in towing milege though. Shift firmness is great, helps towing a large trailer. Have not tried the shift rpm changes. I think this is a great item for the money. Happy I purchased the Hypertech."

"Running a stock 5.9 gas motor and exhaust with the "regular" fuel programming smoothed out the idle. The power band feels more linear all the way up thru 80 and _accidental_ barks off the line are less frequent. Fuel mile increases are so so, about 2.5 mpg highway and maybe 1 or more if I stop playing with the throttle so much. Should pay for it's self in 3.5 to 4 months at $3.75"

"I have an 03 6.0 Super Duty Ford I use for pulling my 31 foot Montana 5th wheel..
.The installation was simple, I set it at the lowest rating at 1 which i didnt notice any changes so I called Hypertech and at what setting could I use for pulling my trailer , they advised the third setting (3) well I did!!!
Man oh man I though I was driving a Vette!!!
The milage is the same and I didnt have my foot in it, Ive driven it to Morro Bay 300 miles and the milage was the same, but the power band is awesome...
I run at 50 to 60 m.p.h so its not like Im horsing the rig..
Im satisfied, I just ordered a larger exhaust system should help even though my truck never showed any signs of over heating..."

"I purchase the Hypertech Nax Energy Programer to get more MPG.
The Rep at Autoanything said 3 to 4 MPG increase. I have seen
1-1 1/2 MPG increase by calculating my MPG. If you go by the in truck computer it shows 2 to 3 MPG in stage 1. In stage 3 the power is Great and the MPG is about the same as with out the tune. I have not tried the stage 2 yet but will on the next tank. Hope that it will show better MPG.
