"I was questioning for a while whether or not to pick up a programmer for my tahoe. I picked this up with the intention of adjusting for my larger tires and doing the basic tune for premium gas. I did notice some power gains as well as a mild boost in gas mileage. I do not know exact numbers but I would guess it helped to add around 2mpg..I am averaging 19.7 overall! I ended up adjusting the transmission firmness as well which ended up being super noticeable and beneficial...I never realized my transmission was so soft before I changed it and now it shifts like a sports car (and its a tahoe!). I got this for a great price while it was on sale, so I purchased it on impulse. It ended up being one of the best impulse buys I have made. I strongly recommend grabbing one of these if you are looking to get a bit more out of your truck and give it some life."

"The Hypertech MaxEnergy Programmer is awesome! Easy to use, very intuitive user interface, and although I'm using the Regular fuel tuning, the change in HP is noticeable from the beginning. The only inconvenience I ran into was that the speedometer adjustment was not very precise, I have 33" tires, but after several attempts I had to end up specifying 31.5" tires on the programmer in order to get the speedometer to be accurate, and every time I had to reprogram the entire thing which was a bit time consuming. Other than that little inconvenience, it is a great product!"

"I couldn't be more happy with the results of installing the Max Energy Hypertech. The resulting Power gain is phenomenal. The mpg improvement is well worth the $$$ in itself. My 2006 2500HD Silverado is much more efficient in gearing once I found the correct combination of rpms to increase between them."

"Improved shift points. Could keep converter locked up better. Greatly improved the low end torque band. Takes less throttle to maintain the same speed. On two tanks of regular, it appears that I have gained 2mpg in town. Before,11.25, after, 13.25. Before, Going up a particular ramp day after day, 70 mph at the end. After, 80 mph at the end. Pinging a bit during a level load. I am going to put a 180 stat in it. That should get rid of that issue. Your welcome David"

"I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab Diesel w/ 35x12.50 Tires under a 6" lift. The programmer was very easy to install. At first I did not think it was shifting right, but that may be because I had not set my Bully Dog Outlook Monitor properly. I have not had the chance to tell of any more Power yet, but I have increased my fuel economy which is what I was looking for. I averaged between 14/15 MPG before. After my first Tank of Fuel, I averaged 18 MPG, my second Tank 19.6. I am now on my third and am around 20. Granted, I am not stomping on it every chance I get at take off, but I do 80+ MPH on the Highway regularly."

"this is a must buy!!! it added so much to my 5.7 hemi, tons of power! i like all of the features it comes with and very easy to use, did add some mpg's if driven right! if you have the money you should buy this, you'll be satisfied!"

"Great service! Fast delivery! Can really feel the difference in power. Pulled our 30 ft fifth wheel 350 miles last week and noticed a big difference in pulling hills. Set the program on level 2, had maybe 1.5 mpg increase in mileage towing the trailer. The program was a snap to install. Love it so far. Am going to experiment with the different levels. My truck has 4:10 gears and 4 wheel drive with the automatic tranny. Getting 20 plus mpg without towing trailer. Was getting 17."

"got a 2000' f-350 power stroke (6 speed/2 wheel drive) stock. changed the air filter w/ a K&N only. just installed your max energy programmer and hp and tq went through the roof. my mileage was great to begin with but now it has gone up even pulling 5-7k on the highway i get 22 mpg and close to 20 mpg around town. do the math...for a small one time investment and about 20 minutes of my time this product has paid for it self at the pump in one month. my old #'s were 16/18 mpg and barely had enough power to pull a load uphill. now no down shifting, no movin over to the slow lane and best of all...gettin close to 700 miles to a 29 gallon tank! was lookin for all the "bells and whistles" (intake,exhaust,etc) initially and the programmer from hypertech definitely convinced me otherwise. thanks. JC."

"Excellent Product. Big HP and TQR gains. You can really feel in in the seat. Have not seen MPG increase yet because I can't keep my foot off the hammer. I would highly recommend the product to my fellow BOOSTERS!!"

"I pull a 42 foot 4 horse w/ living quarters and get 6.7 MPGs and 10 empty. After programing to Premium Fuel got 15 MPGs empty on a round trip over the tallest pass in Washington State."

"I was a little disappointed with my programmer. The description did not adequately explain what features would be available for my 2005 Ram 1500. When I installed the programmer, to my disappointment, there were only 3 things I could adjust - even though the programmer is capable of adjusting 9 others on different year models. I have gained some horsepower, but not quite what I thought I'd gain, and my fuel consumption hasn't been impacted, despite driving over 1,000 highway miles since installation."

"Wow what a difference......never installed anything like this before and it was so easy....My 2007 Harley F-250 has taken on a new life.....not to mention that my fuel mileage has gone from average of 16 hwy to 18.7 mpg hwy....I set on stage 2 and that is plenty for me....Also I would like to thank AutoAnything for being so helpful on the phone...top of the line customer service !!!!"

2008 Ford Expedition Limited

"Well I'm in the proces of trouble shooting an issue I'm having with the programer. After loading the programmer to my SUV I have been having issues at low RPM's. Sounds like the engine bogs down or the timing is off. Currently trying different things but may have to send back if I cannot resolve the issue. I have a Cold Air Intake and exhaust work done along with the programmer. Hypertech rep recommended that I add a fuel Octane booster. I added the best one they had at the auto store but this did not fix my issue. If I smash on the gas it's all good and can feel the increased HP. Hypertech stated that I may have to use the Regular gas setting instead of the Premium gas setting and still run Premium fuel however I will not get the full benefit of the programer."

"This product was very easy to install. Not as much power as other higher priced units, but for the price this unit outdoes itself. At stage 1 this unit ups gas milage by 2 to 3 each gallon. At stage 3 the power is very impressive."

"The Hypertech Max added a lot more power to my 2008 dodge ram 4.7L V8. I get 50 miles more on a take of gas with Hypertech installed in my truck. Very easy to install, just follow the instructions on the screen."
