"havent noticed the big mpg gains that they say only have got maybe 1mpg more with this programmer and cai additions with same driving habits. seems to have more power, but i need to work on the shift point and firmness. jack"

"I've had the program in my truck, '07 Silverado 1500 New Body, for about 2 weeks. Have had noticeable power increase, better throttle response, and improved MPG. Around town I was getting about 15.5 mpg, now I'm getting around 18.5 mpg. Definitely worth the money, will pay for itself in the long run. Would recommend to anyone."

"There aren't enough functions for my Jeep. There is no program to adjust for larger tires, or change the shift points. The only things that could be changed were premium fuel, rev limit, or top speed limit. I have noticed a small increase in power and fuel mileage."

"Have installed Level 1 and did get a couple of MPG better in my 2008 Ford Super Duty F250. Will install the performance mode later and this is to tow a 14000 lb. RV and see how it does? Chuck"

"After towing a trailer across the country and going through the mountains I was looking for anything that would help. I overnighted the Hypertech programmer to where we were staying at in Las Vegas. After a easy few minutes installing the program it was like I had a different truck. The difference was amazing in towing and my fuel milage was better. I cannot belive I waited so long to get one."

"I deliver Recreational Travel Trailers and Fifth Wheels throughout the USA and Canada. Although I think there is a slight improvement in Ease of Hauling and in MPG, it is so slight that I am not as satisfied as I had hoped to be."

"I havn't had this programer long enough to really know how much it has improved gas milage but so for I have at least seen a mile plus per gallon improvment. I like the adjustments that can be made like the shift points, shift firmness, tire size etc. I would say over all this programer is worth buying."

"Wow! This is what I would say is a wake up call! Strong results, good shift quality, torque is very noticable. The install takes about 10 minutes. I have used previous Hypertech programs and this one is the easiest to install. It is kinda scary when you program because it activates alot of the systems and you don't know what is going on! In the end, everything functions just fine! Way to go Hypertech, just like I thought it would be........ With the new exhaust, cold air, and program we're in the 400hp range and 18+ mph on the road."

Better Mileage and more power

"I installed this in my '99 Expedition and right away noticed the difference in power, but with gas prices the way the are I can stay off the pedal especially with this hog. I'm not sure exactly how much better it's improved mileage wise, but so far there is a noticeble improvement with less stops at the pumps. I'm very pleased with my purchase."

"My Hypertech Max Energy gave me better gas mileage, and a slight but noticeable power increase. I was also able to set the mph cut off above 90 which was my primary goal. Good price."

"It gave my truck what it had been craving. It was well needed. Especially enjoyable on the Interstate when I'm towing, I get that extra kick in the tail thats always right there when I need it. Can't say it does much for fuel when towing, but around town yes. I even have it lifted 6" with 4.11 rear end and 34-35 inch tires. Speedo is right on with my GPS now."

"No mileage benefit. In fact my '08 Avalanche is averaging 12.5 mpg vs. 13.4 on my 'o4 Avalanche. Little difference in hp boost."

"I have a 99 F250 7.3 diesel, w/ 112K miles. I am EXTREMELY pleased with the changes the Max energy made to its operation !!! I've gained 2MPG, the engine runs so much smoother I still am amazed at it. But the biggest change is in the operation of the transmission !! The Max Energy programmened in firm shift points that has made the tranny respond like it is a light truck!! I'm very glad I made the purchase and would highly reccommend the Max Energy to any one !!!"

"First I had to go online to update the programmer before I was able to us it. That took a little while. It was easy to hook up. Good directions on CD. I wish it would give you more details of the benefits for your specific vehicle. I've tried different settings with little difference. My next step is to just program it again without changing any settings to see if it increases the gas mileage. If Anyone has any info on setting benefits on Avalanches, Please post it, thanks....My ENG is a 5.3L V8"

"The installation was hassle free and quick. I noticed a small difference in performance only when i used premium fuel. I have not had the Hypertech max energy power programmer long enough to notice an increase in gas mileage but i am sure it will pay off in the long run."

"Most of the bennifits with the Hypertech don't apply to the 1998 F-150. The shift changes however did add to my fuel mileage by almost 1 mile per gallon."

"I have had the tuner in my truck for 2 weeks. Fuel mileage has increased 1-2 mpg. My main reason for buying the tuner was for the fuel mileage but I am more impressed with the driveability of the truck now. I have set the tuner for Level 1 (lowest power increase) and the engine has a new life; more power, quicker acceleration and runs much smoother. It's way more fun to drive now."

"It was fairly easy to install. The only thing my customer does not like is that fact that everytime he was to change something in the tuning he has to take a lot of fuses out and unplug onstar it a pain when your in a hurry. Over all it helped the way the tranny shifts which was the biggest reason for buying it. As far as power goes it may have helped some but it was not as much as we had hoped."

"F250 6.4 liter 2008: The idle to acceletation to 15 mph does not change much, however once the turbo's kick in, the truck pulls you back into the seats,,, excelleration is very good, pulling loads is increased ability as well. Overall, very good change. Gas mileage increased by 2 miles a gallon, maybe a little more. Recomend adding ability to change shift points, and the truck would be a rocket. The hypertech made a big difference in the performance."

"Around town my truck shows an average of 12 mpg. I recently went on vacation and my odometer was saying i could go 450 miles. I ended up getting around 16 - 17 mpg. I didnt really see any power increase, guess cause the 6.0 already is a beast; but it is set on regular gas. The main reason i purchased it was for adding 26 inch rims which threw my speed off by 7 mph. Will update once I try it in high octane mode. If gas ever goes down enough!"
