"I bought the hypertech max programmer for my 09 focus. It was ok in that it gave the ability to change rev and top speed limiter, as well as a few other things. Overall power gain and gas mileage improvements were minimal tho. Probably better for larger engines and diesels."

"Didn't work the way I wanted it to on my 98 Ford F150. It didn't give me the options to make adjustments in as many areas as I would have liked. It only tuned the engine for premium gas and made adjustment to the way the transmission changed at full throttle to give it a slightly firmer shift. Honestly,the difference that it made probably wasn't worth the price of the tuner for my particular truck but I will keep it thinking that every little bit helps."

"Easy downloading of level 2. Took a 500 highway mile trip didn't notice increase in power and only .5mpg was expecting more."

"The Max Energy Programmer really helps with acceleration. I also opted to crisp up my transmission shifts by 50%. Checking the computer codes is really neat also. You can google the codes and find out exactly what is being stored in your computer. The only thing that I can say that is disapointing is that the increase in gas mileage is very nominal, maybe 1 mpg."

"I got the programmer because my buddy said that I would like what it did. He was right. I put it in my F-150, 5.4L V8 and liked the results. I really noticed the added power going up all the mountain passes on my way back to CA. I like it and it was realy easy to install."

"This is the easiest unit to use that I have come across. Other units I have used (not for cars) take much more time and instruction (book) to use. It also programed as advertised."

"This programmer was well worth the money. It has improved my gas millage along with my k&n intake. It makes my flowmasters sound even better and really gives my truck that "get up and go" power when you give it good gas. I programmed it for the premium gas setting, increased the top speed limiter, firmed up the shifts and am currently tweaking the rev limiter and shift points. This thing really brings out the 5.3 L V8 like it should be! 5 Stars!"

"This Hypertech programmer is the best thing since slice bread. In a matter of a few minutes this thing did what us old mechanics would have spent days doing. It was so easy a child could do it. I especialy like the shift firmness part,I bought a B&M shift kit no need for that now. I'm still amazed at how much more power my 2002 WS6 has. This is a great programmer I would give it 5 STARS!"

"Very easy installation, instructions easy to follow. Seems to have more power in the upper RPM ranges, haven't checked mileage yet. I am putting bigger tires on and will be able to use the speedo calibration feature for that. I would recommend this item to others."

"02 Dodge Ram 3500 with a 5.9L Gas Engine. The programmer was very easy to use. I plugged it in and it walked me through the entire process. Their tech support was great with an overall summary on what to expect with my vehicle. I should have purchased this product sooner. I cannot believe how easy it was to install and in one week and a tank of gas, I have noticed at least a 10% increase in fuel mileage."

"Simply amazing. The price is a little steep, but the power gains are more than anything you will get with comparitavely-priced bolt-ons. Programming is simple and done in less than 20 minutes. True plug-and-play performance."

"This Max Energy Programmer does exactly what the name says. I am very impressed at the difference in power and especially the gas mileage. Getting 22mpg going 65mph down the road. Thats with 35" M/T tires! I will not own another truck without this programmer."

"I installed program 2 of 3 in my 2003 Dodge diesel 2500. Notice more power and smoother shifting. I will tow our 9000 pound 5th wheel next week and will have a better idea about the usefulness of the reprogramming then."

"Purchased the Hypertech Mx Energy Programmer looking to improve performance out of 6.0 Powerstroke. Very simple installation; just follow the on-screen prompts. I was pleased with the acceleration and have realized a 15% improvement in fuel mileage."

"i got a 05 silverado with the 5.3 and i put a two inch rough country lift on it with 33 inch tires. the hypertech made a huge difference. the shift firmness really makes a big difference. it runs like a 5.3 should now. so simple to use this is one to get."

"Ease of installation was outstanding (Plug & Play), noticable differences overall in throttle response, horsepower, torque and best of all no more factory speed limiter! I'll be looking for a radar detector soon! This was all accomplished with other accessories as well. Throttle body spacer, mass air flow, K&N 77 series intake and a Magnaflow muffler. Sounds great and run great. Now I need to see if I can keep my foot out of it to determine the gas mileage differences!"

"Purchased the Max Energy, for my 06 Mustang GT, with Cold Air intake. It has the options for my Roush Intake. with or without the tube installed.Noticed immeidiate performance inprovement. Within 20 miles of driving gas miliage improved to 22.2 mpg from 21.8"

"If owen a Mustang you need to buy the Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for your car. You can release more of your Ponys that are waiting to get out. This is well worth the money. Your car perform's so much better,runs smoother,and is very easy to install."

"So far I'm quite happy with this tool. The primary reason for this purchase is to squeeze the 20 additional HP's out of my truck when I tow my 26' camper. My first programming of the truck I decided to go simple. I set it up for regular pump fuel, and a firmer shift. I really like what I've seen so far. My gas mileage seems to be better and I'm getting a much more positive shift. I can't wait to set it up for towing. Ray"

"Installed in less than 30 minutes (from opening the box). Very easy to use. Throttle response definitely better. No noticed change in mileage. Overall OK so far. Got K&N intake-much better results"
