"programmer was easy to install.HP was great.It ate more gas then gained in milage.I also have an airraid intake and throttle body spacer.I don't know if that plays a role in the fuel lose,but it didn't have the option on the prgrammer's menu.But over all,it does give that hp."

"Just installed the hypertech, only 1/4 day of driving, truck runs smoother then factory settings. Increased speed limiter to match new tires, not tested yet, will see on next freeway drive with clearer weather. Maintained regular pump gas settings for current fuel tank, after this tank going to refill with premium gas and retune to see performance effect. Prior to this change the 5.3L was setup with true dual exhuast and K&N cold air intake. Every change this last year has been positive so far; better performance when putting the pedal down and better gas mileage when cruising. I will update after a few real trips to report the true overall results of the hypertech tuning."

"I havent used it a lot yet but milage seams to be about 2 to 3 miles per gal. and a noticeable power increase it is set on the middle power setting . I am pleased with this product."

"I had some friends that had the Hypertech, and said it was great, I figured a litle increase in power, but when installed the 2002 Dodge diesel power is almost scary in 6th at 60 mph just a touch of fuel and it is 85mph. 2nd 3rd and 4th gear really set you back. We are taking a road trip today to see if mileage is increased,going over Wolf Creek Pass so the power will be put to a test. Thanks,for the prompt shipment and the good price. "I purchased this programmer along with a K&N FIPK Air Intake and my truck is like a rocket! Huge difference in power. I'm trying to lay off the gas so I can check my mileage, but havent't been able to yet!!!"

"After installing the hypertech max energy programmer I did notice an increase in power and have increased in fuel economy by 2 to 3 miles per gallon. I changed the shift firmness 25% and this made a big difference. Overall, it's good, but not great in increasing power. I wish Hypertech would give you more instructions on what level to increase or decrease shift points for towing and non-towing."

"Great product for my 1999 Dodge Ram 2500. I had problems installing this unit. I called for some help from the tech support and felt like this guy had no idea what he was talking about. I called back after a couple of days of being frustrated and talked to another tech guy and he was right on the money as far as what my problem was and I had my unit up and runing in no time. As for the unit. I have not had for long, but I did put it on level 2 and the power was awsome. I originally bought this unit to pull my 32ft trailer. I have not had the chance to use it yet. So far I am happy with my purchace and would recomend it to anyone"

"Just installed the Hypertech onto my 08 Dodge 3500. This product is very easy to install. The programmer was not updated when i received it but the online intruction worked well for updating. I stacked the Hypertech with an Extreme Power puck from diablo. My milage incresed to 18mpg just cruising around and 23mpg on the high way, not bad for running on 6 tires all the time. I have a 39 foot 5th wheel that I did not get to tow yet due to bad weather in Pittsburgh. AKA CHAMPS So far so good plenty of power."

"I installed the Max Energy on my 99 Sierra 1500 5.3l. My truck has 35" tires and a 4 inch lift, dual exhaust, and cold air intake. I was previously getting about 11mpg hwy. After installing the regular fuel tuning, which took about 5 minutes, I have averaged 14mpg hwy, so I picked up 2.5-3 mpg. So I am very satisfied with my purchase in that respect. I have also noticed a gain in power. With cruise on it doens't need to kick into overdrive as often as before when driving into the wind. The one dissapointment that I have is that AutoAnything advertises that tire size can be adjusted up to 54 inches. This is incorrect. It only allows adjustments for tires up to 34 inches (confirmed by a Hypertech tech). So I was unable to properly calibrate my speedo for the 35's. Otherwise I am very happy with my purchase."

"Very pleased. Much better gains than the superchip. My friend has a superchip that will work on my truck so I tried it out before buying the hypertech. The hypertech works a lot better. The truck responds better and pulls harder with the hypertech. I am very pleased with my purchase."

"Install was easy. Plug it in and let it figure out what you have, then it may or may not need an update which is easy as plugging in your iPod. Then take it back, answer some questions, and let it update your ECU. Whole process took about 30 minutes. I was very impressed with the amount of low end torque I gained as well as improved power throughout the whole RPM range. I would estimate a gain about 40 ft-lbs of torque and 20-30 added horses. Plus the ability to read and clear DTC's is a huge help. A good value for the money, Autoanything was the best price around and had the quickest shipping. 97 Chevy C1500 4.3L V6"

"Works good. I'm getting 2 mpg in town better. don't know about highway yet. Good improvement in acceleration. I was a little dissapointed in what it allowed me to change on my specific vehicle. I was only allowed to adjust the rev limiter, top speed, and adjust for tire size. The directions said to remove the fuses for the radio, remote start, and onstar. There is no fuse for the remote start or onstar. Called the tech # and the guy said to remove radio and radio amp fuses. It wouldn't work at first, it just kept saying insufficient voltage, even after I left the battery on the charger. Called the tech # and they told me to update the tuner online. Worked good after that. Favorite feature is that it lets you choose what octane to use. Overall, good"

"Great buy, works great. don"t know if I gained any on fuel mileage just installed. Set power on level 2. Noticed more power trans shifts smoother. Easy to install but no smoke. I like that, because it means that the fuel and air are just right and not wasting any fuel,but still get the power you need!"

"i bought the new body style as soon as it came out, i love this truck but it was lacking the punch i was ecpecting it to have ..dont get me wrong . i love my truck but know with the hyper-tech, i am not limited !truck has 60,000 miles on it now and drives like a different vehicle with this product installed. haven"t checked the fuel economy"been busy passing everything on the road" but i have heard it will increase the in-town fuel mileage by a few miles a gallon. i was reluctant to pay that much money at first but know after driving in houston traffic ,i come home with a grin on my face..{priceless}"
