"I am getting 17 miles per gallon in town compared to 15 and getting 21-22 on the road as long as I drive at a reasonable speed. Very happy with the unit."

"I found that the clean exhaust filter comes on frenquently when it is programmed to stage 2 or 3 Other wise I am impressed with the performance increase."

"Got my Hypertech max energy and installed stage one and noticed no oly a little more power but I gained around 2 MPG on the first tank full and its been running pretty consistent ever since."

"Overall, I am pleased with my Hypertech programmer. I did have to connect to PC and download an upgrade before I could preform the actual installation. The performance enhancement included crisper shifts, better throttle response and I picked up a little better than 1 mpg. I am considering another purchase for my Denali. Don"

"I installed the Hypertech Max-Energy programmer in my "04 Dodge, Quad-cab, diesel. The instructions and installation process were very straight-foward, and easy to understand. In fact I installed this programmer and a cold-air intake in the same afternoon. As far as the performance; I almost immediately noticed and increase in horsepower, and pickup. (No Dyno-tested confirmation) The big surprise was how quickly my fuel mileage went up, avg. 14-15 mpg intown, to near 20 mpg on the highway. It has actually continued to improve, as this was in the first 2 weeks. I can't say for sure how much is attributed to Hypertech and how much to the cold air intake, but together it's been a winning confirmation. For you offroaders, don't expect much of an improvement in netted offroad mpg's. Performance, yes; mpg's no."

"The Max Energy Tuner is great. Once I was finally able to update it for my newer vehicle ,which itself was super easy. It was under 10 minutes to install. I like how you just answer the questions yes or no and then higher or lower. The truck hauls really smooth now. We put my brothers s10 on a flatbed trailer and towed it all the way to PHOENIX AZ from CALI and the truck ran really good. I could pass,excelerate,and fly uphill with no lag. You can definately feel the difference and power from the programmer."

"With the hypertech set on level 3 I managed to get 18.8 MPG on the computer and 18 MPG according to my own calculations. That is mostly city driving with a pretty heavy foot. The hypertech is the most recent of what I have put on the truck and I would say the mileage has gone up about 1-1.5 MPG. After the K&N complete intake, CFM+ intake elbow, a painless performance striker module and some exhaust work its been about a 7MPG improvement with me driving others can get it to around 22 MPG city. The power is Phenomonal with a FX4, crew cab, long bed Ford F-350 I can fish tail the truck already going between 25 and 30 MPH and it'll roast the tires through third gear. I definitly recommend the Max Energy programmer to anyone with a 6.0 powerstroke at least."

"Had trouble updating and had to call tech support. After updating program installation was easy. Placed in stage 2 and very happy with performance and mpg. Got 12.6 mpg pulling a 28ft 5th wheel through the hills of Kentucky and Tenn at 70mph on interstate."

"First off, I have a 2007 new body style 5.3L V8 GMC Seirra. I have flowmaster exhaust and a cold air intake. I also have a 7 1/2 inch suspension lift with 35's. When I first got the lift installed I noticed a huge decrease in power. I drove about a week without a chip then I got the hypertech max energy and wow, it returned that back to stock power and more! It also helped on gas mileage 2 mpg difference! This Product is great. I highly recommend it!"

"Ordered the unit on Saturday and had it Tuesday! Attempted to install which took over 40 minutes only to find out it needs to be updated which took 3 days. Then I learn that tech support works East coast hours which is bad for us on the West coast. It wasn't until the following Monday that I was able to finally get the unit to install which took about 3 minutes. Acceleration off the line improved, shifting at redline improved, but I haven't noticed any fuel economy improvements."

"This programmer has everything you need for a stock or slightly modified car. If you have codes it will clear them, but they will come back! It does everything it claims in its advertising. All this programmer is missing is a air fuel ratio setting. If you change your intake and exhaust you will be running leaner and there is no way to compensate for this problem with this programmer. There are others out there for around the same price that will I would suggest getting one of thoes. I plan on returning this one because of this simple issue unless they can come up with a download to fix it."

"This has given my Dodge Magnum 360 gasser Sport some Balls! IT Always was a Smooth opperating PIG, But NOW has the performance and Torque, But MPG is up to 14.5 from 13. I will have to try Hydrogen! THANX from PA"

"i got this to help with performance and "gas mileage" however i soon to see any saving on gas for i have just been having fun ripping out the hole. great get up and go to 40 mph. then great go after 60. from 40-50 sluggish."

"This was my first time with a product like this. It was as simple to use as it can get. I followed the on screen instructions and all went well. I selected the #2 program to try out first. When I took my 1 ton dually for a spin through town I thought maybe I made a mistake. It had more pep then before but I was looking for better mileage. To my surprise the next day I took a 300 mile trip and instead of the normal 17 miles per gallon highway, I got just a little over 20 mpg. I will try the other programs but I can always come back to #2."

"I thought the installation was easy, the fuel economy is great, but I would like a dynamometer test results on a 2006 Ford F-550 automatic 5 speed with a 6.0 diesel with a 4.88 gearing with G124 Goodyear tires. "Hi AutoAnything, Purchased Hypertech Max Energy Programmer from AA for mpg, tested it for 3000 miles and emailed Hypertech for technical advice as to mini mpg increase. I investigated before purchase and felt confident a 5-7% increase would be worth the $$ invested. The less than 2% increase mpg on premium fuel did not cut the costs of using regular gas. Hypertech informed me they tune for power not mpg, although thru testimonials many claim mpg increase. After the Hypertech call I was watching the tv show Trucks, again. The end commercial was Hypertech's and the main messege driven by the host was, "partial-throttle gets excellent mpg gains plus more power(HP) at full throttle with the Hypertech Max Energy Programmer making it possible." Hypertech support passed along some other helpful return email knowledge. In Illinois the land is to flat to get better mpg, need to have some hills as C.(the Hypertech head representitve) wrote. The money would have been better spent at a comedy club, everything claimed there is funny. This marketing venture presented by Hypertech is that, funny but successful marketing. Hypertech got me, a once thought auto smart consumer. Being consumer aware is the real money(mpg) saver. Tire pressure up, highly maintained, no extra weight except that of the fool. Yours, Bruce"

"programmer is good, but a little extra documentation would have been nice, it takes 20 minutes at least to change the computer every time and some recommended setting ideas would have been helpful. extremely easy install though, and performance is good."
