  • See what the Max Energy can do for your ride! Select your vehicle above for a specific list of the adjustments available in your Max Energy. Rev limiter, tire size, transmission and fuel octane adjustment capabilities vary by model.
  • Flex Fuel Vehicles: fueling with E85 is not recommended in conjunction with your Hypertech unit. Burning E85 reduces efficiency and power compared to using gas, which nullifies the effect of Hypertech's programming.
  • Software Compatibility: the Max Energy Programmer uses Hypertech PC software to download updates and new tuning programs. This software is not yet compatible with Windows Vista.

"But as I have purchased Superchips models before to use on my Fords I had no problem using the Hypertech model on my Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Hemi. Ease of use is always a strong point with me. My Hemi Jeep now runs the way I want it to and I am very pleased I made this purchase."

"I bought this to correct the speedometer. I have a 6 inch lift with 35s. I was hoping to get better gas mileage. I have it set at stage 2. The added hp is great, but I have not seen an increase in mpg."

"Amazed at the ease of use, It literally walks you through the whole tuning process. You can feel the truck responding quicker to throttle inputs as well, and thats just with the tuner as the only power addition."

"I'm very happy with this programmer. I mainly needed a programmer to recalibrate my speedometer and as a diagnostic tool, and I bought the Hypertech because of its great value. It was definitely the right decision. Now my truck is much less willing to come out of overdrive when I use cruise control on the highway, which I am extremely happy about. Excellent product!"

"Hooked up easily and the program downloaded fairly quickly. Box is compact which is nice but appears to be made of cheap materials. Car runs great with the tune installed so no problems there just hope it holds up over time."
