"I recently purchased a Superchips Cortex programmer for my Chevy Silverado. I programmed in the performance setting and really noticed a difference all around. I'm running Bfg mudders 285/75/17 and the truck was feeling a bit sluggish on the low end with the stock settings. The Cortex took care of that and the truck pulls very nicely off the line and maintains acceleration throughout the powerband. I have not noticed any change in fuel economy, mainly because I have been on the gas more taking advantage of the new power settings!"

"updating was a snap so was doing my first tune.you can feel a mild difference with the 87 octane tune. big difference on the 91 tune way more responsive throttle. Have not tried the 93 tune or the xs gas saver tune,waiting for a long dive next week to reno to really see the millage gain.sure it will be great. has alot more features than i thought i was getting like all the data logging and readouts.cool that it auto powers down when truck is turned off, I wish it came with some way to mount it on the dash though but im sure some Velcro or suction cup to window will do fine."

"Works great in the proformance mode. Lots of get-up & go! Also have driven about two hundred miles and getting about three miles better miles/gal. It works great for shift adjustment and setting the speedo to the proper tire size."

"love the power gains i got from the programmer.bought this unit because i went with a lift kit and bigger tires.no power loss at all with the big tire.i can feel the extra performance the cortex programmer has given my truck.LOVE IT."

"I am very pleased with the performance of my mustang. Superchip program makes this car run alot better than it was with the stock program. I would recommend superchip to anyone who want to up grade the proformance of thier vehicle.It was cheap proformance up grade to my mustang. I now recommend superchip to all my friends. Thanks Tim"

"Good stuff. Installed easy, very noticable power increase, lots of extra data logging features etc. Hopefully the 93 octane tune will be here soon, but a definite good power adder. Buy it and forget about he Stage kit Chevy will never release and if they do...it'll be overpriced compared to this."

"This Cortex is great! I installed it on my 2002 F350 7.3 and could tell it shifted different and was saving me some diesel. I love it that you can download the latest program. I use it on my diesel for weekend four wheeling and then return it to stock and use it on my Mustang during the week."

"man o man at first it didnt wanna work but i updated on the superchips.com page and i got to say you can really feel the power before it would peel about 3 trucks length but now i peeled out about 7 or 8 trucks and thats because i let go of the pedel man as soon as u step on the gas the back sits down i recomanded it ill be beating on chevys vortex hemi rams and with out a question fords and autoanything is the cheapest place to get it"

"I installed the 91 octane performance tune in my '05 Pathfinder. WOW, what a difference! There was no WOT restriction removal option as I guess Pathys come from the factory without the WOT restriction. Anyway, it's like an entirely new vehicle!"

"Honestly I haven't driven my truck much since using the superchips programmer. When I did I believe I noticed improved performance and the engine did run cooler. Going to Colorado soon. That will be a good test."

"I have a Dodge Ram 1500 4.7L V8. The hp didnt go up as much as I would like but the truck shifts perfectly and my MPG went up dramatically. I used to get about 13.8 and now i get about 16. It was well worth the money. The programmer will even tell you what your 1/4 mile time is and 0-60 without having to take it to a track"

"I love the CORTEX I installed it in my 07 TAHOE I currently have dual MAGNAFLOW and the K&N cold air and AIR RAID throtle body spacer and still felt I needed some more. My wife and I noticed the difference like right now, I did hear some ringing from the engine but went away after a couple of days. The only down fall is that all of my PC's @ home are APPLE and I am unavailable to update the programer. I have e-mailed SUPERCHIPS and have yet to hear from them. I still recommend the CORTEX to any one. I just order one more for my wife's 03 DENALI."

"I have an 07 Nissan Frontier with K&N intake, Banks monster flow exhaust, and the cortex programmer works great with both. It takes minutes to install and I've gotten 5 mpgs better. A little expensive but it works great in combination."

"First the cortex is easy to install program. I installed the fuel saver program and have gotten around 4 to 5 MPG more on the road. As far as power, plenty of that, at first I didn't think it was up but believe me it was there. I also tow a 14,000 LB 5th wheel I went from 10.5 to 15 mpg in tow mode. Not bad. I'm happy with the Cortex but think there could be a few more programs to chose from."

"the look was not quite what i expected but I do realize they dont all look the same. I use my programer for a little play and fuel saveings . I did fint out I got better mileage on the highway using the performance over the gas saver program. the stock mileage was like 400 miles to a tank and now on performance setting it is 530 miles great improvement. 04 dodge ram 1500 5.7 hemi"

"The performance program does just what i expected, however the Milage XS program that came on the cortex programer actually decreased my milage by 1.4 mpg(about 30 miles per tank of gas). I have not tried the towing program yet"

"It was not hard on which programmer to by, after reading all of the comments about Superchips I had to buy one. I noticed an immediated difference in low end and in high end torque and power. The installation was really easy and easy instructions to follow. I have a rare AWD truck and this was the first time that I was able to chirp the tires. If you are trying to decide on what programmer to buy, BUY from Superchips!!"

"The programming took a little longer than I thought it would. After saving the stock setting it was easy. I tuned the motor for 91 Octane, downloaded the performance tune and the performance shift and that was it. Throttle responce is incredible and when I punched it to the floor I really got put back in my seat. Kicked it into passing gear and acceleration is just awesome. After I did the programming I also installed a cold ait intake which made it just that much sweeter. My Hemi was hot before but now it's breathing fire. Yahoo..."
