"I had no way of knowing for sure but it was get higher speed with lower RPM. I also think that I had more power than before. Can tell more when I get my travel trailer hookup to the truck. What they don't tell you about programming the E-Con 33000 is that you must go in twice to have your unit updated to your vehicle. Make sure that it asks for your vehicle make, year, model and engine size. That will put OK with the reprogramming."

"If you can push buttons and turn your ignition key on/off you can install Max Energy E-con, more pick up, lower reves like geting an extra 2 gallons per tank."

"Installation was easy, just took a few minutes. Looks like my mpg's have went up 1-2 mpg. But every little bit helps. What I have noticed most is the increased power on take offs."

"I installed my Hypertech Max Energy E-Con in under 10 minutes and when I started my truck, it was idling 500 Revolutions Per Minute lower. I get 2.9 more miles per gallon on the highway. This Programmer is worth every penny. I definitely recommend getting this Programmer is looking for better Mileage and better Performance."

"The E-con was quick and easy to update on my home pc, took about twenty minutes to run through the program after plugging it into my truck. It definitely made a noticeable difference in shifting and power. I've only run through one tank of gas so far but I did see a .5 mpg increase, which I believe will go up a bit more. It does what they say it's supposed to. AutoAnything rocks as usual with fast shipping and great prices."

"I found the programmer to install easily, but takes a few minutes to run its course. I am running a 2001 Dodge 2500 Cummins. the truck had been averaging about 17 MPG on the highway. I installed the programmer the night I left to drive from Virginia to Montana a trip of about 2400 miles. I used program "A" and the truck immediately went to 21-22 MPG. I was really impressed. I never did figure out how much money the programmer saved me on fuel for that trip, but that much of a jump in fuel mileage really satisfied me that I had spent my money wisely. The only real negative about the programmer is that there isn't a lot of information even on the included CD that tells you what each program does and which program might be better for towing, or whatever. Other than that, its a great little unit. I do wish it had the ability to change a few more parameters on the truck, but I think you have to pay for them or purchase the other upgraded programmer."

"Hypertech E-Con At first I was very skeptical as most are when promised better gas milage. I installed the unit before going on a road trip of almost a 2000 miles and tracked MPG both ways------So far so good as I picked up 10- 15% better milage and that was with bucking a 20-25mph headwind coming back. 2005 Chev/Duramax Pulling a 27' Cougar 5th wheel (aroung 10000 lbs) I showed improvement when not pulling (maybe 10%) It actually seems like the better improvement is coming from when I'm pulling a load. So Far, I'm totally recommending IT!!!!!!"

"I was unable to get the Econ to work on my 2007 Chrysler Pacifica. The Hypertech people were very helpful, and were even willing to take my vehicles computer and install it themselves, but I was unable to give up my car for 3 to 4 days while it was done. I will gladly try there products again when I get another one that they support."

"I have had the engine (Powerstroke) tuned to the "A" program for a little over a week. There is a definite power increase at higher rev's (over 2100 rpm, approximately). I am in the process of checking fuel economy. If I can pick up 2 or 3 miles to the gallon with the increased power and torque, I'll be one happy camper. I was getting 10.5 mph towing a 10,500 lb fiver and about 14 mpg solo. My truck is a crew cab dually, four wheel drive which I've had for 6 years. I will post my results in a couple of weeks with the info. So far, it looks good."

"the product is incredibly easy to install. however i was hoping for better mpg. i have a completely stock 2007 f-150 4x4. since the upgrade, i've driven two tanks. the first tank was no change in mpg. and the second had 1 mpg better. i don't know if it will continue to increase or if that's it. but i know they advertised 2-6 mpg gain. so... not quite what i was hoping for."

"I bought the max energy to improve fuel economy, didn't really care about any performance gains. Installation took less than 10 minutes. I've only had the max energy econ installed for about a week, but have noticed a mpg gain of approx. 1.5 driving around town with the AC on. Also does feel more responsive."

"The installation was very easy. The results are +/- 1.5 mpg which is of more and more value as the price of fuel goes up. I drive 50,000 miles per year and 1 mpg increase saves me over 200 gallons per year. The E-con ax pays out in less than 6 mos."

"I am very satisfied with my purchase of the Hypertech Max Energy E-Con.I noticed an immediate difference in horsepower and after installing and filling up my gas tank for my 2007 Silverado1500 new body 4.8L V8 I have noticed a considerable difference in my MPG!!I reccomend purchasing this product to all owners of full size 4X4's!!!!"
