    Description

Hypertech's E-CON Programmer optimizes your engine's tuning for maximum fuel economy. Through a simple plug-and-play interface, the E-CON reprograms your engine's computer to squeeze more "go" out of every drop of fuel.

What's more, the Hypertech E-CON saves you wasteful trips to the mechanic by letting you read and clear diagnostic trouble code (DTYCs) and turn off "check engine" lights. And, you can quickly return the vehicle back to stock settings whenever necessary. Plus, the E-CON programmer is easily updated via USB (cable included) and the internet for the latest innovations and enhancements.

With fuel prices on the rise, the Hypertech E-CON makes perfect economic sense. Backed by a Lifetime Warranty.

Our 90+ Hypertech Max Energy E-CON customer reviews have an average rating of 4.50 out of 5 stars. To see specific reviews about your vehicle, please select your year, make and model from the drop down above.

The device was very easy to install and tech was right there when I needed them but as far as econ its just not there. I have ran several tanks of fuel through and there has been no change in my milage. I will continue to test and hopefully it will get better.

Super easy to use, only took me 10 minutes to program my truck. I noticed a difference in power right away. I have not noticed any difference in MPG.

Loaded the tuning, for three weeks watched gas gallons, wrote down each fill-up miles. Have lost 2 miles per gal. Under stock 15 miles per gallon. Insted i was hoping to gain 2 miles a gallon. If you want a tune not a saving gas mileage tune i guess it's a good tune.

Installed the programmer on my 2004 Jeep Liberty limited. After installation i drove the Jeep on my normal commute and right away the MPG display started going up.It usually averaged 18 mpg,After a week it was averaging 21 mpg. Also besides the MPG increase it seems more powerfull under WOT acceleration.

Upon plugging in my Hypertech #33500 and finding it dead I called Hypertech. The tech said to check the cars fuses and I did. There is 11DCV at the plug. He also said that if it had worked I would have had to download the correct program.I guess it would be too much for $309. to expect it ready for my vehicle. So with the shortness of the tech and no real concern for my problem I decided to return it for a full refund. Autoanything was very understanding and set up the return without any red tape. I would not hesitate to purchase there again . There sales person was understanding and helpful.

The Max Energy E-CON does not have the ability to adjust the top speed limiter, however the Max Energy Power Programmer caries the same program as the E-CON and allows for control over the top speep limiter. Please remember to never exceed the speed rating of your tires.

Hi Charles, the E-Con tunes your vehicle for maximum fuel efficiency, not for performance. It does not have the performance tunes in it like the other Hypertech products. For that you would need the Hypertech Max Energy Programmer or another performance tuner.
