    Description

Like a flash of genius, the SCT SF3 Power Flash Programmer codes your vehicle for performance in an instant. Preloaded with an array of dyno-proven tunes, the SF3 programs your vehicle for shocking horsepower and torque gains, plus some increased fuel economy (if you can keep your foot out of it, of course).

Preloaded with a host of dyno-proven performance and fuel economy tunes, with room for 3 custom tunes, the SF3 programs your vehicle for livewire performance. And, with a full menu of user adjustable parameters, the SF3 makes the most of aftermarket accessories like cold air intakes, exhaust systems and gears.

The SF3’s onboard data logging records your vehicle’s PCM data and lets you view it on the LCD screen or your laptop. Plus, the dual analog inputs monitor EGT temps, air-fuel ratio and other vital sensor data. Along with all this performance, your SF3 stores the factory tune for easy back-to-stock restoration, and it reads & clears trouble codes to save on expensive diagnostic fees. Bet yet, SCT backs your SF3 Power Flash Programmer with a 1-year warranty.

Our 10+ SCT SF3 Power Flash Programmer customer reviews have an average rating of 4.50 out of 5 stars. To see specific reviews about your vehicle, please select your year, make and model from the drop down above.

This programmer is totally unsuitable for my purposes. I found out that this unit locks itself after 5 programming sessions. For most people, this would be satisfactory, but I like to tweak my vehicles and have to buy aftermarket parts one at a time so I would have to flash the computer more than 5 times to get my vehicle running the way I want. The only way I found this out was when I downloaded the latest firmware. Nothing in the initial description noted this limitation!

I received my SCT SF3 programmer in less than a week. Thanks AutoAnything! The tow tune really helps my Duramax mpg's. I tried the performance tune and I'm afraid my tranny will be fried! I only use the tow and street tunes now. Great product and helps mpg's a lot if you can keep your foot out of it.

Asalready indicated in my e-mail to you my explorer lost a minimum of 3-4mpg. My original mileage has always been between 17 and 22 mpg NEVER EVER under 17,+ mpg often in excess of 20, but 18-19 mpg. on a regular basis, I have driven this car for ca. 70.000 miles and I call tell immediately by the gauge how I am doing. I was in shock and disbelief at first; BUT fact is fact. The rating should be minus 5 stars!

It depends on what you're looking for.Chips are installed into your vehicle’s PCM and they stay there. There is usually no choice of tunes, unless you wire a switch, plus they offer no diagnostics or monitor displays. A handheld programmer ison the other hand, connects to your OBDII port by your steering wheel. They give you a greater range of tuning, diagnostics and monitoring capabilities. They’re more interactive, user friendly, and much easier to uninstall.

Once you’ve programmed your PCM, the tune stays there until you replace it with another one, regardless of your battery.

I have a sct x3 tuner for a 2006 mustang gt, can I use this tuner for a2012 camaro ss.

I wouldnt recommend it as tunes change often even if the engine remains the same. In any case, the SCT will be VIN locked with your 2006, preventing you from attempting to tune the 2012. You could however tune both with a Superchips Cortex programmer and by adding the second car with a small charge directly through Superchips online.

You can use the device for both vehicles, however the first one will have to be retuned back to stock tune before it will allow you to tune the other.
