Fairly easy install for a mild mechanic. Love the fact you can see what temps your car is running at. About a 1.5 mpg gain if you dont stomp on it, definitely can feel a difference when you do though( and thats only on regular setting, i havent tried premium setting yet. Not sure why the 50 state legal one is $100 more...but thats besides the point. Installed on an 06 silverado 1500 5.3L.

2008 Dodge Dakota
I have a 2008 4door Dakota, how can I get better towing ability and better mpg while towing? I have a 20' travel trailer and only get 9.1mpg while towing , my Dakota has the 4.7 V8 so it should be doing much better than what it does. In need of some suggestions on what would work best.

Hi, The Bully Dog Triple Dog GT Tuner would certainly add horsepower and torque, which is what you need for easier towing. You might pick up a few MPG's, probably when cruising with your right foot barely on the pedal.flag Accept Answer

Hi, For power gain info, select your truck's engine information to find out. MPG gains will depend entirely on your right foot usage.flag Accept Answer
