    Superchips TrailDash in control

    Reviewed by Troy R J (Norwalk, OH) Reviewed for a 2008 Jeep Wrangler — Oct 30, 2012 5:11 AM

Very easy install of unit and dash piece. Time involved was about one hour with no rushing to complete install. Dash piece is easy to read and navigate. Only negative I have is, I had hoped that the option changes from fuel octane to fuel saver to rockcrawler selections would be immediate. The process requires you to go though the menu while sitting still, and cycle though ignition on and off each time. The vehicle control is very easy and well thoughtout on each menu.

The Superchips TrailDash is calibrated for stock vehicles, but you can download custom tunes from Superchips that will take full advantage of the upgrades that you have added to your Jeep.

This is a plug and play unit. It took longer for me to go to lowes to get the right size screw for my trail dash pod.

You don't need a computer science degree, that's for sure, it’s really easy in fact. Simply plug the programmer into the OBDII port below the steering column. The screen will then light up and walk you through the tuning process. You’ll be blasting the trails in less than 15 minutes!
