Other than looking pretty under the hood I haven't noticed any benefit. The Ford 4.0L V6 (51k miles) is still a slug under all conditions. No noticeable change in performance or any type of improvement.

I have had a CAI and a catback exhaust for a number of years. I was never sure I observed any performance gains, they just both made a cool noise in their own right. I bought this chip, plus running premium fuel, and I can feel a heck of a difference. Shift points seem to have been moved to right were you want them, plus a noticeable amount of extra "go" on the top end. This completes the trifecta of performance mods, I think it is needed to get the most out of the other two.

This is the first performance product that I've used , and it does what it's suppose to do , I've got better response in all rpm ranges and better mileage out of it as well. The instalation took about one minute , just plug in and go , thank you for a great product .

I noticed a definite improvement in acceleration and the truck sounds healthier when idling. I have not driven it enough to comment on mileage, but that was not my reason for buying the chip.

We have a 2008 Ford Ranger FX4 with the V6. The installation of the chip was very simple. The pick up in power was felt on the first drive. the transmission also has a smoother shift to it now. At this time we do not know what fuel improvement it will have but overall we are happy with the performance. Roger
