Jet Performance Module Part #90002 Customer Reviews

This unit was very easy to install. I've only had it a short time and I've noticed a bit more power under hard acceleration.

This performance chip definitely increased the horsepower by pretty noticeable amount. It's not going to do anything for mpg so don't get it for that reason. My 0-60 went from a stock 8 seconds to 6.7. I definitely recommend it.

I installed the Jet performance chip and felt no difference what so ever in the way my truck ran or performed. It's like I never installed it at all. My power is the same. My fuel mileage is the same. My towing of my trailer was the same. I was hoping for a little help in the towing department but was let down. I am an auto mechanic of 30+ years. I bought my truck new and have kept it in top running condition. Maybe the difference is found in the stage two chip. fuel is to expensive to use it.

Easiest installation, but see no difference. I purchased a K&N cold air intake and noticed immediate gains. With this, nothing has changed.

Put one on my 1997 Ram 2500 and felt a decent increase in hp, nothing spectacular but all the same there was an increase. I would do other mods first (intake/filter, exhaust, etc.) before i bought one but if hp is what you're looking for then this is the logical next step.

Overall i like it. Had to modify air box mount so harness didnt hit it after installing the chip. Otherwise extremely easy to install. Dont really notice mpg improvement yet but hoping i do come summertime. as of eight now still only gettin about 14. Also got the spacer plate with it and i notice the performance improvement. Might have to upgrade to stage 2

I have a 99 Durango with a 5.9 liter engine so performance was never an issue, I was looking for the economy factor. There was no discernable difference in performance. I filled the tank @ 11.6 mpg prior to the installation, my next fillup was 12.1 mpg a statistical anomaly likely due to my observing my driving patterns. At that rate it will likely take longer than my vehicle will last to pay for the module.
