If my 2009 Chevolet had wings it would fly. It is a diesel and runs super, but I was hopeing for more fuel mileage, but I am very inpressied with it. There should be more details to what each stage--1-2-3 does for the pickup------but there are none.

After downloading the program (#3), naturaly I wanted to test out the performance enhancement. Idle to just less then half throttle there was no noticable difference from the stock program. From half to full throttle, you better hang on to something, vast improvement over the stock program. But now to the real reason I bought the programmer, in town mileage went from 10 to 12 MPG and highway went from 17 to 20 MPG, but you have to keep your foot out of the throttle or you'll have the opposit effect. All of this is of course running empty with no load.

I have this silveradp with the new lmm engine lifted it bigger tires and my mpg's went really low 12 to be exact so I have had hypertech before on a powerstroke 6.0L and loved the power and fuel economy gains so I opted to get it again so far since I got it 2 weeks ago compuert tells me im getting 14 mpgs a solid 2 mpg gain and I can feel the power when you get on it, I can peel out easily from a dead stop but why would I do that, anyways I would recommend anyone to get hypertech if they are looking for increase in economy and power!

Your programmer works great,my truck runs a lot faster with a lot more power than I really need, the main reason I bought it was that I had a 2005 Duromax and I installed a superchip in it and my milage went up by 6.5 mi per gallon of fuel with the power, and your Hypertech that I installed in my 2008 duromax I went from 16.6 mi. per Gallon to 15.1, somethang is not right .

the progammer definately adds more noticeable power but not in the rpm range i expected.POWER COMES ON AROUND 2000 RM AND IS GREAT BUT AT PART THROTTLE THE TRANSMISSION KEEPS DOWNSHIFTING MAKING THE SURGE OF POWER GO IN AND OUT. There is no adjustment for my Allison so the erratic surges are almost annoying. My last diesel and progammer had power coming on about 1500rpm noticeably without downshifting.

Instructions are good, not great. Only tested on Stage 1 so far, tranny is learning. No surprises, speedo reset is perfect for tire size. The real value is in Stage 2 and 3. We'll see. For the money, if it delivers as expected, great value in a programmer, great price, service. Veh is a Duramax LBZ CCSB.
