Good overall value, lighted display would help, did mine at night. Had to update it before I could install. Noticeable difference in performance, havent seen the fuel economy increase yet.

I am a change the oil and a tire kind of guy. Not technically inclined nor ignorant but wouldnt swap out an engine. This program was super easy to install and called Hypertech for recommendations on settings for my vehicle based on my usage and driving style. I was not familiar with what the settings would do to my truck ie. tighten the shifting and provide more power, but wow. Truely amazing. When I step on the gas it simply goes and I mean now. I have seen a unbelievable increase in power but a slight drop in mileage. That could be attributed to my settings and tweeking my higher gears to provide me a better highway rpm, I guess. Even losing a mile or two per gallon this was definitely worth the money!

I really expected better miliage,never got it.My miliage increased 1 to 1.5 per gal.When running 70 on highway I may get 19,mostly 18 miles per gal.Very disappointed.I have plenty of troque.No mileage.
Why did I wait so long!

We all spend a bunch on our trucks. Bigger tires, new wheels, running boards, bed liners, etc.... So I waited to get the chip. The Hypertech Max Energy works so well this should have been the first thing I buy. Sure I got 2 or 3 mpg improvement, which is great, but what I like best is the firmer shifting. No more of the slow painful delays in downshifting. And I only increased my shift firmness by 25%. I was able to punch in my correct tire size. MPG improved from 15 to 18 on the highway, 12 to 16 wiht 2 dirtbikes in the back and from 9 to 13 pulling a 30 foot camper.
So far so good

Shift firmness setting makes the truck feel 100 times better as you accelerate. I am still on my first tank of gas so I am not sure about the increased mileage. It does however have a much better response to the throttle than it did!
EASY TO USE
GOOD....BUT FOR $330????

This programmer was recommended to me by autoanything specifically for gas mileage. I didnt care so much about power as i did my gas mileage. I didnt change my driving habits and may barely pull off a meager .5 mpg gain. Not good, considering I paid so much. As for the power...worth the $$ for it to open up the sluggish 5.4 3V **I am a decent mechanic and know EXACTLY how to check MPG, so any comment you read about 2-4 mpg is not right** 2004 F-150 Super Crew 4x4 w/ 5.4 3V I run a KNN filter and BFG A/T KO's 275-70-18 10ply with 45psi before max energy. 15-15.5mpg after max energy 15.5-16mpg

Made throttle response a ton better. gas milage haven't really been able to see since I'm having to much fun gasing it around town but I'm sure I will be getting 2mpg+ made the rpm's run lower with my 33's on it OVERALL WOULD BUY AGAIN
Love it

Great tuner. I can tell a definite increase in HP, mostly at higher RPMs. After a couple weeks of stomping all over the pedal I'm back to driving normally and getting just under 2mpg better mileage, from 15 up to almost 17. Excellent product, got mine on sale - couldn't expect anything more especially with all the options it has, tire size calibration, etc.
A little help

I purchased this for my 2010 f-250 5.4 liter work truck. I typically get about 12-12.8 mpg, so this was where I wanted improvement.I Received the programmer and had to download an update before loading. Drove about 600 miles in 2 days with it and towed about half the time. I gained around 1- 1.5 mpg with mixed driving. This will pay for itself in about a month.
