I had to take it 40 miles to a Hyperthec Dealer and pay $20.00 to have it updated. I asked before I bought it, would I have to update it for my 2006 Dodge 2500 crew cab 5.9 diesel, yall said no. But it was for a 2007-2009 even though it said 2006 on the back. And you must have windows 7 or higher to do the update.

Bought this programmer for my 06 Dodge 2500 Diesel so that I could change the tire size to calibrate the speedometer. I figured for an extra 50-60 bucks over the price of the basic Hypertech speedomenter calibrator I would get the tuner option. First impressions are it is easy to use. Update the programmer on line on your PC before you try to use it and you will be good to go. I will be putting the level 1 tune into the truck once I see how the tire size change effected my MPG.
