I can't believe the difference it made. You can really tell in 3rd and 4th gear when AFM wants to kick in. All the power stays in it, even passing power. This thing, plus exhaust, plugs, and CAI made the Tahoe a BEAST!!

Purchased my 2017 GMC Sierra just a few weeks ago, saleslady didn't tell me anything about the truck going into V4 mode. After noticing power drops and almost getting hit waiting on it to switch out of the V4 mode, I had to read the manual. Educated myself and hated the V4 mode! Found this unit while browsing on the internet and purchased here at autoanything.com. This unit has allowed me to fall in love with my GMC Sierra. What a difference!

I read reviews before I purchased this device. Some said it would drain the battery. I left my truck for several days with no problem. So far, it works great, recommend for sure. Autoanything A+ as well

The AFM is everything it advertises to be Except - a warning that if the vehicle is not going to be driven for a while, you should unplug it. Seems like something that can be easily forgotten and is cause to wonder how many insertions the connector is designed for???

No more v-4 mode and fuel mileage hasn't changed at all. also there is no issue with battery drain on my 11 GMC Sierra. It sits for a week or more and always starts no problem. No lights are on this device when the ignition is off

Truck runs much better when staying in all 8 cylinders. No going back and fourth between 4 and 8. instant down shifts now. Actually the mpg has gotten better. ( about 1.5 mpg better )

I read the other reviews before purchasing and the device sounded amazing. After having to have both banks of lifters replaced and hearing that the 8 to 4 convergence was the main culprit I decided to try it. All I can say is it is great to have the power back. My truck is about to turn over 200k miles and it is running better than ever. Gas mileage is actually a little better than it was but time will tell. WHAT TOOK ME SO LONG??
