I really purchased this tuner so I could purchase/upload a custom tune for my 2010 Camaro after I install my long tube Kooks headers with hi-flow cats. In the interim, I hooked it up and adjusted some parameters (axle ratio, idle RPM ) and uploaded SCT's tune. Seems straight forward. I'm not sure I can feel a seat-of-the-pants difference. I did notice the tuner already has a tune on it for long tube headers! I will upload that tune and evaluate before purchasing a custom tune.

Noticeable HP & torque gains with 93 octane stock tune Increase MPG from 12.3mpg to 17.5mpg highway Would recommend to anyone Mods- Gibson shorty headers, Brisk USA LGS spark plugs, Granatelli wires, custom header back exhaust, Flowmaster super 10 muffler, K&N Blackhawk CAI, and SCT Tuner with custom tune Next on the wish list is a supercharger or pro charger Little pricey but worth the $$ Can't go wrong with SCT

Am a novice when it comes to tuners. Was hoping for more adustment options overall for my SS. Tuner not very user friendly when it comes to connecting with home WiFi. Wish the manual or mfr website had more detailed guidance on all the functions. Will need to read up more on the more complex settings like spark plug adjustments, etc to get my monies worth.

I bought this mostly to disable AFM or DoD, the V4 mode on my 2012 Silverado 5.3. It does claim to be able to do this and I have tried several different options and nothing I have done can get the AFM disabled. It also does not appear to recognize the 6A transmission, even though it specifically states that it should.
