A bit of a pain to install, you have to remove the air-box to get to the ecu. Stage 1 on a stock vehicle, slightly better fuel economy.

Ok, Before I tuned my 5.3 flex I redid the exhaust with a Magnaflow free flow converter and muffler, with an 18 inch by 4 inch tip at a 45 Degree... Than I installed a K&N cold air intake and changed to E3 spark plugs, Oh, the truck has just over 30 grand on it... This all helped the power and pickup a lot, on 89 octane gas... Gas miliage didn't improve but the poresponce and power sure did.. I also tow my 24 foot boat which weighs just under 5 grand, and I live in the upper desert of Southern California... Now I did the tow tune and used the superchips settings.. A BIG Improvement in Power and shifts... Even made some Hemi and Tundra Boys feel bad a few times, and you Ford guys, need to get a motor under those hoods of those tuff looking trucks....... Sorry but the truth hurts sometimes...

The 4.3L V6 in my Chevy Astro van is hot. I use it primarily to tow a small travel trailer and it has always done a satisfactory job but now wow! I can't wait to get it on the dyno to test the hp and torque. A recent two way run of 24 miles (not towing) yeilded a gas mileage inprovement of 3.9 mpg. Needless to say, I am well pleased.
