Over a 1 MPG increase AND on 87 octane!

Reviewed By Sean J (Belle Chasse, LA) Reviewed for a 2005 Cadillac Escalade —9/2/2013 8:14 AM

I was a bit skeptical of this tuner, since a lot of them have huge promises, but I got a great price on it through AutoAnything and bought it. I have an Escalade with a 6.0 V-8 and RWD that usually gets 17.4 MPG on the highway at best on our road trips. I got as high as 18.9 and even through a 3,800 miles road trip driving on the highway, city traffic and up hills and mountains, it still averaged 17.3! The cost savings of using 87 octane plus getting better fuel economy were well worth it!

A Little Disappointed

Reviewed By Charles R (RICHARDSON, TX) Reviewed for a 2016 Chevy Colorado —2/14/2017 5:13 AM

Taking from some of the information I found on a few other reviews and articles, I was hoping the Max Energy 2.0 would resolve the "chuggle and hesitation" on my truck (a known problem that GM will not or can not fix). While it did help on the city driving issues, the highway speed hesitation is still a problem. The programmer is pretty easy to use if you read the instructions first and follow the on-screen instructions. I like the five program option. I currently have two loaded.

2015 Toyota Tundra 5.7L

Reviewed By SHAWN S (Saint Augustine, FL) Reviewed for a 2015 Toyota Tundra —1/15/2017 6:15 PM

Awesome product!!! Great step by step instructions. Had 0 problems with the installation, it took about 45 minutes from start to finish. I would recommend you measure your tire to get the exact size. I upgraded to a 22in wheel with 35s and programmed 35s first and it was still off 2 MPH. Once I measured and saw that it was really a 34, I programmed that in and it was perfect. Much smoother shifting too. I also noticed a 2mpg gain too!!! This is a must if you have a lift Tundra with 35s or larger
