Decent Programmer

Reviewed By Scott Q (Dorchester, MA) Reviewed for a 2010 Cadillac CTS —5/15/2008 11:22 AM

I have a 2005, Dodge Magnum R/T, AWD (5.7L Hemi), it's much better then the SuperChips Programmer. It cleans up the shift problems that I had (1 to 2 shift there is no lag anymore). WOT in 1st, hard but smooth shift into 2nd, throws you into the seat with NO hesitation like there was with stock or the SuperChips Programmer. Then keep your foot down and you'll get another hard but smooth shift into 3rd. This is a much better value then any other programmer that I have seen so far. Can't wait to see what my times on the track are like now. Be aware that I had to buy a USB to Serial Cable and Power Supply to update, another $50 on top of the price of the programmer.

Healeybrothers Review

Reviewed By Richard F (GOSHEN, NY) Reviewed for a 2013 Chevy Silverado —1/17/2018 1:25 PM

I work for Healeybrothers in the Hudson Valley. NY. I get to talk with many of the top mechanics in the shop. Since Chevy went to Active Fuel Management in there engines they use a considerable amount of oil when switching from 4cyl to 8cyl. There is no fix for this problem. I purchased the DiabloSport in Tunei3 to disable the AFM in my 5.3 engine. Very easy to use and I did the economy tune also removed the restricted top speed limit. Main reason no more oil consumption. Very simple setup

Awesome Results!

Reviewed By John C (OOLOGAH, OK) Reviewed for a 2001 Chevy Suburban —12/2/2017 12:45 PM

2001 Suburban 5.3L which was very anemic before I bought the I3 tuner. Was skeptical with the Plain Vanilla appearance, and lack of full display, but it is not lacking in the Performance Department. I first used the Default 87 octane setting. I pull a 26 ft Warrior Toy Hauler with a Honda GL1800 Goldwing in the back, that bike adds 900+ lbs to the load. The Suburban is being asked to pull more than tongue weight rating, doing a super job and added 3+ MPG while towing.
