'99 7.3

Reviewed By Tim H (Arvada, CO) Reviewed for a 1999 Ford F-250 —8/4/2010 6:50 AM

Deffinately has more power than the old hypertech on stage 3. On the old trucks many of the adjustments aren't available, shift points, rev limiter, top speed limiter and the cooling fan. Only adjusts up to 34inch tires which I have and it is more accurate than the original. Some dtc's are popping up,P0603 nothing to worry about said the guy a 4wheel parts but I'm not through playing with it. It shifts firmer, but not harsh and stage 3 is fun and does'nt feel abusive. Bet it's really great on the newer trucks with all the more adjustments to play with. I can't see spending twice as much on some of the other brands. Also, Autoanything had the best price I found and it showed up on my doorstep the next day with out paying to over night it, it's like they knew I would be ordering it.

Hypertech Speedometer Calibrator Reviews

Finally a fix for Tacoma speedometers.

Reviewed By Robin A (Gary, IN) Reviewed for a 2009 Toyota Tacoma —7/8/2010 7:39 AM

My 09 Tacoma was a full five MPH off at highway speeds. I kept getting the same aggravating excuse. It's within factory specs.Checking online, I found this was a common problem. With the Hypertech Speedometer Calibrator I was able to program in different axle gearing to dial the speedometer right in to where it should be. I wish I had known about this product sooner. Rob.

IF it works...

Reviewed By Jon R (Woodland, CA) Reviewed for a 2005 Dodge Durango —6/9/2010 9:40 PM

I haven't been able to get it installed on my Durango, and it's buggin' me. The various install instructions say to remove the fuses on aftermarket stuff before install, which I did. Apparently I'm not removing enough. I've talked to tech support 4 times and one email, and I'm basically not getting full answers. I sort of feel like I'm supposed to know more than I do. This is all compounded by the fact that I have very little time to be working on a project that should take 5 minutes, but has taken 2 hours and counting. I'd send it back, but I imagine the Bully Dog I wanted to get has the same problems...
