upgrade..shift limiter

Reviewed By Jeff T (Milwaukee, WI) Reviewed for a 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo —5/27/2012 11:41 PM

required upgrade before use. installed disc, then during final installation, malware notice popped up and wouldnt install. had to remove spyware blocker before would work. malware notice still on laptop.... :( took many tries to get the right combination for the car to run and shift smoothly. still hits rev limiter from 1st to 2nd gear sometimes. notice difference right away though, especially shift firmness, has to be the best upgrade from the whole thing! during install on car, shows interruption sometimes, then restarts upgrade. very odd

Great and Affordable Control Module

Reviewed By Nick M (Gresham, OR) Reviewed for a 2000 Chevy Monte Carlo —4/24/2009 11:36 PM

My dad found this for me because I was looking to get a little more out of my 2000 Monte Carlo SS. This is a great price compared to other programmers. The shipping took longer than "3 business days," and the installation took a long time. The instructions were mediocre, so a Chilton manual helps for the wiring diagrams, and tapping into the sensors was difficult with the included plugs. Overall I got a lot more performance and gas mileage out of my Monte Carlo, and the monitor function is cool to have.

2015 Toyota Tundra 5.7L

Awesome product!!! Great step by step instructions. Had 0 problems with the installation, it took about 45 minutes from start to finish. I would recommend you measure your tire to get the exact size. I upgraded to a 22in wheel with 35s and programmed 35s first and it was still off 2 MPH. Once I measured and saw that it was really a 34, I programmed that in and it was perfect. Much smoother shifting too. I also noticed a 2mpg gain too!!! This is a must if you have a lift Tundra with 35s or larger
