"Installed the 87 octane on my 8.1 Silverado and it really came alive. The truck is much smoother and more powerful now. Milage improved about 1 mpg on the first tank so far too. Can't wait to try the other options when I get time!" —Shane K from Greenwich, OH bought a DiabloSport PC Interface - USB Cable Kit for a 2001 Chevy Silverado.
"My truck is a 2001 Chevy Silverado 1/2 ton 4 wheel drive extended cab with an automatic and 146000 miles on it. Prior to installation of the Hypertech I could only tow our 4000 lb travel trailer 55mph and it felt strained and going up grades was slow and labored. After an easy install, I can now tow on the level at 60mph with cruise control on. Going up grades is still 55mph but so much less labored and it feels as if the engine is not strained. My gas mileage, observed over several tankfulls, has gone from 10mpg towing to 13mpg over the same roads. The install also needed an internet upgrade that was easy, quick and thorough. I would highly recommend Hypertech." —Peter L from Paulden, AZ bought a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for a 2001 Chevy Silverado, 5.3L V8.
"This is a complete diagnostic tool that I have used numerous times since I bought it. It has more than paid for itself in just the 2 months that I have had it so far. My truck was a project and I needed to do several repairs to it to in order to make it a reliable daily driver. Not only has this tool helped me troubleshoot problems with the truck, it has made the truck much more enjoyable to drive with the 87 octane tune. I would highly recommend this tool to anyone that has a vehicle that fits this tool. I haven't even gotten around to using it for data logging to get ready for a custom tune yet. This is a great addition to my truck." —Kevin W from Fort Worth, TX bought a DiabloSport PC Interface - USB Cable Kit for a 2001 Chevy Silverado.
"It is very simple to use, but lack of clear instructions makes it a little agervating. It is simple to plug and tune, but if you want to change anything else, isnt as easy. There is nothing to tell you if you programmed the shifting diff, well at least for the price. All in all not to dissapointed with it, but it does not make a huge diff." —Anthony H from Saint Charles, MO bought a Superchips Flashpaq Tuner for a 2001 Chevy Silverado, 5.3L V8.
