"You just can't go wrong here... Took less than 10 minutes to install from pulling from the box to putting it back in afterwards. A lift kit and oversized tires cut back on my power and this programmer more than made up for it." —Josh C from Tuolumne, CA bought a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for a 2003 Chevy Silverado.
"i have recently purchased a superchips flashpaq tuner and couldnt be more pleased. i have a 2003 silverado 1500 HD with a 6.0 and 6 inches of lift with 35 inch tires. the adjustments to correct the speedometer and adjust shifts were enough by themselves to get my attentioni but with the performance setting and the economy setting you can have decent power gains and or fuel mileage gains of up to 3.2 mpg!!" —Patrick R from Longview, WA bought a Superchips Flashpaq Tuner for a 2003 Chevy Silverado, 6.0L V8.
"Dont really notice a difference unless you floor it. I found that the stock shift points work just fine. Its fun to go over 100 MPH . Now my truck roasts the tires with ease. Only get better gas if you grandma drive. Im happy. Headers next!" —Dustin D from Grand Junction, CO bought a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for a 2003 Chevy Silverado, 5.3L V8.
"I bought the bully dog gt 49 state legal gas tuner. I have never been able to get more then 11 mpgs from it with a mix of all driving. it was a very easy install i did it myself in the hour it said it would take just had to follow the directions. with it on regular power and performance shift point and firmness i am now getting 15 mpgs like i was hoping for. i couldnt be happier with it its a great product would recommend to anyone." —Dustin T from Westphalia, MI bought a Bully Dog Triple Dog GT Tuner (49-State Legal) for a 2003 Chevy Silverado, 1500HD.
"My box stock Chevy 1500 has much better throttle response, Shifts better. Feels better. I first uploaded the updates... very slow going thru all the steps for optional software. Install was very easy. A little fumbling some of the steps. First installed the new gas mileage program. Gas mileage after tank fulls has stayed the same. Good power. My brother has a 2500HD. He used the power program and went from 10 to 13. My 1500 didn't see any change in power or mileage. When I checked the tire size it said 26?" versus my actual 30.5"... However police radar says my speedo was accurate before and after... I guess I'll check the internet blogs." —Arthur P from North Berwick, ME bought a Superchips Flashpaq Tuner for a 2003 Chevy Silverado, 5.3L V8.
"Was very easy to install. Man what a difference in pulling. I have not checked the mpg yet, but it is realy fun" —Ronnie S from Oudega, Oudega bought a Superchips Flashpaq Tuner for a 2003 Chevy Silverado.
"I bought the Flash Paq tuner based on the positive reviews and the fact that it is an upgradable device. I received the item promptly from AutoAnything...thanks! Previous modifications to my 2007 Tahoe include rear drop coils and cold air intake. Also has OEM 20's and is lubricated with Amsoil products. I was looking for a little more power off the line, so I decided to try a programer. Installing the programer was easy and the whole process took about 15 minutes. There are different level settings, and I choose the 87 octane. I immediately noticed a change in the shifting through the lower gears. It was quick and smooth, shifting naturally during acceleration. My only concern was that for the first 30 miles, I heard some pinging of the valves. Not a comforting noise, but it has ceased, so I figure the on-board computer self-adjusted the timing (I plan on contacting Superchips to see if the pinging is common). I have not had it long enough to comment on the fuel milage. All in all, a great tuner if you're looking for better transmission shifting. If your expecting noticable horsepower changes, sorry my friend, you won't notice it on a 2007 Tahoe without more modifications. Still worth the money!" —Michael L from Cincinnati, OH bought a Superchips Flashpaq Tuner for a 2003 Chevy Silverado.
"I have seen an increase of around 3-4 more miles per gallon. Installation is a pain,I had to call superchips because it would not install on my truck. They told me I had to remove so fuses to install it. After I removed the fuses it worked great, but don't like the idea of having to remove the fuses everytime I want to change the tune. overall very good product." —Tyler T from Fayette, IA bought a Superchips Flashpaq Tuner for a 2003 Chevy Silverado, 6.0L V8.
"I have enjoyed everything about the evolution programmer. From how easy it was to install to how simple but sharp the design is. I would suggest to everyone this is a top notch buy." —Justin S from Tampa, FL bought an Edge CTS Evolution Programmer for a 2003 Chevy Silverado, Automatic, 6.6L Duramax.
"I was inpressed on the ease of installing it. We pulled our camper to Colorado in June and believe it did help on fuel milage." —Lana H from Salina, KS bought a DiabloSport PC Interface - USB Cable Kit for a 2003 Chevy Silverado.
"I'm very happy with this programmer. I mainly needed a programmer to recalibrate my speedometer and as a diagnostic tool, and I bought the Hypertech because of its great value. It was definitely the right decision. Now my truck is much less willing to come out of overdrive when I use cruise control on the highway, which I am extremely happy about. Excellent product!" —Brent M from Germantown, TN bought a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for a 2003 Chevy Silverado, 4.8L V8.
