"My Truck is far from stock, I have 10 inches of suspension lift plus a body lift for a total of 13 inches. I am running 38.5x14.5" Thornbirds with stock 3.73 gearing, so I was looking for a little power increase but recaliberating my transmission shift points and shift pressure along with the speedometer change for my tire size was a bigger factor. I programmed my truck at the highest performance setting right away. My truck had great power before with a 6.0L Vortec Max engine, a cold air intake, a throttle body spacer, and true-dual exhaust; my power in 1st and 2nd gear was great, but once I hit 3rd, I usually lost more rpms than what I wanted, but now my flashpaq tuner has definantly solved that problem. My transmission shifts much smoother and faster than it used to and I no longer experiance the power loss there was before, it feels like power shifting now. I really can't say the horsepower increase is that noticable though, but its a great product. Autoanything was great to deal with, and their price is about $100 less than most other places." —Terri V from West Olive, MI bought a Superchips Flashpaq Tuner for a 2004 Chevy Silverado.
"I have a 1500 4.8L and would max out at about 55 pulling an 18ft toy hauler. I can now go 65 to 70 but went down from 14mpg to 8mpg in tow mode. Needless to say I will be looking for a larger truck before next season but in the mean time the Super chip has helped some." —James T from Chandler, AZ bought a Superchips Cortex Programmer for a 2004 Chevy Silverado.
"This is the best aftermarket product I have bought thus far" —Hannah W from Mechanicsville, MD bought a Superchips Cortex Programmer for a 2004 Chevy Silverado.
"We were so happy with the performance of our 1st Hypertech unit on our '03 GMC DuraMax that I ordered another one the very day I bought a 'new to me' '04 Silverado DuraMax last month. The improvement in fuel mileage and horsepower exceeded expectations. AutoAnything Customer Service Dept was easily as amazing as the product. Thanks for everything!" —Denise K from Elburn, IL bought a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for a 2004 Chevy Silverado.

A friend with same truck but but a 5.3 drove my truck and ws very impressed. going to try mileage mode soon as i'm going on trip. But you can't go wrong with the Cortex." —Gregory N from Cochranton, PA bought a Superchips Cortex Programmer for a 2004 Chevy Silverado.
"I was on the prowl for 1 specific answer to a lingering irritating question! How, Why,and What do I need to do in order to be able to move, get up and go,put the pedal to the metal, step on it and not have my truck roar and then blaaa cut my power to go any faster off, and feel like a sputtering, coughing old piece of junk as you watch a rice rocket fly past you and your top speed is well a joke. That dreaded top speed limiter. The Max Energy took care of that problem and added some muscle that was already there just waiting to be unleashed. Awesome! Got what I wanted and More !! Ya it does make a difference, to each his own! Eric" —Eric L from Manteca, CA bought a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for a 2004 Chevy Silverado.
"This was my first time ever using a chip and I am really impressed. The truck has obvious reaction changes to the different settings used. Adds a lot more power than I expected as well. Overall, it was definitely worth it." —Damian H from Bloomer, WI bought a Superchips Cortex Programmer for a 2004 Chevy Silverado.
"Increase in milage and performance! It will surely pay for itself in short order. Money saved will go to the tire shop though!" —Rodney R from Lander , WY bought a Bully Dog Triple Dog GT Tuner (49-State Legal) for a 2004 Chevy Silverado.
