"I used the programmer for the first time and changed the speed limiter, easy to use." —Anthony C from Peoria, AZ bought a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for a 2009 Chevy Silverado.
"If my 2009 Chevolet had wings it would fly. It is a diesel and runs super, but I was hopeing for more fuel mileage, but I am very inpressied with it. There should be more details to what each stage--1-2-3 does for the pickup------but there are none." —Ray H from Fort Gibson, OK bought a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for a 2009 Chevy Silverado, 6.6L Duramax.
"auto anything was great recevied my unit fast, now as for the programmer my ck engine light came on after install and reported no dtcs called a/a said to update and try again did it 3 days now no problems power is good better than my superchip!!!my f250 is alive again" —Chris M from Gulfport, MS bought a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for a 2009 Chevy Silverado, 6.0L Powerstroke.
"Does not work for a Y6.0 L engine. Tech support did a great job figuring out why it did not work. Autoanything is going the extra mile to help me find the right programmer." —Jim M from Wichita, KS bought a Superchips Flashpaq Tuner for a 2009 Chevy Silverado, 6.0L V8.
"Firmer shifts, not much better gas mileage, little more power with 87 setting. More power with performance setting but the performance setting and towing takes 93. Overall good product." —James K from Bealeton, VA bought a Superchips Flashpaq Tuner for a 2009 Chevy Silverado, 2500HD, 6.0L V8.
"I bought the Hypertech mainly to adjust my spedometer/odometer (I bought larger than stock tires), but found the "regular fuel" tuning is pretty significant. I have not tried the premium fuel tuning yet, but that is next up. I saw roughly a 10% increase in fuel economy (on top of what I was expecting from the tire size change) and noticable increase in power. I can say that installation was simple (just make sure to update the programmer on your computer). Good product." —David B from Carrollton, TX bought a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for a 2009 Chevy Silverado, 1500, 5.3L V8.
"I have notice more power and the shifting has improved. Have not notice any change in gas mileage." —Fred K from Camden Wyoming, DE bought a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for a 2009 Chevy Silverado, 5.3L V8.
"Definitely the best bang for the buck in my opinion. I definitely noticed the power gain on my 09 Silverado. Haven't tried the premium octane tune yet. I'm satisfied with just the standard tune." —Nick P from Fountain, CO bought a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for a 2009 Chevy Silverado, 5.3L V8.
"I was pleased with the ease of installation. I has issues with the online registering and figuring out whether or not it went through. That was my fault, I was using Firefox, don't. Bring up Internet Explorer, no headache after that. Even customer service didn't make me feel like too much of an idiot in pointing that out to me. After that it was a breeze. I haven't been able to do a real long run in my truck, but initial figures show an increase of 3 mpg. That is with me driving short trips and mixing some highway." —Glenn C from Edgewood, NM bought a Superchips Cortex Programmer for a 2009 Chevy Silverado, 2500HD, 6.0L V8.
"Installation was easier than expected, took literally 5 min. Can feel power increase and see difference in better mpg. I bought the tuner because you can adjust settings like fuel trims yourself and it will hold custom tunes." —James E from Huntsville, AL bought a DiabloSport PC Interface - USB Cable Kit for a 2009 Chevy Silverado.
"Installed Tow program after installing lift with 35" tires. The shift pattern is much improved and seems to have more power than before. The calibration for the tire size is within 3mph at higher speeds and right on to about 50mph. No notice in mpg but when you lift a truck and put 35s on you cant expect any improvements. I would buy again just for the tow and mph adjustements. The only mod installed is a k&n air filter. Easy install great product for what I needed." —Kavin F from Thurmont, MD bought a Superchips Flashpaq Tuner for a 2009 Chevy Silverado.
