Hypertech Max Energy Programmer Reviews

HyperTech 2012 Suburban 4x4

Reviewed By Arnell S (KEAMS CANYON, AZ) Reviewed for a 2012 Chevy Suburban —4/21/2015 2:45 PM

With the installation of the HyperTech Max Energy Programmer within the last couple of weeks.I can definitely feel the power increase when I step on the gas. I have not yet taken my vehicle on any long trips to see if I get better gas mileage as proposed increase. Install was easy and took 15 minutes. I wish there was refence sheet to upgrade my shift points and rev limiter for even more power gains.

Device does what it claims to do; prevent vehicle from shifting into V4 mode. This doesn't completely stop the annoying vibration that occurs between 1000rpm and 1250rpm. I believe there is some other inherent deficiency that Chevy can't diagnose or chooses not to address. This vehicle should not vibrate or shudder at a certain rpm.

I am getting better gas mileage, more power. I have deleted the V4 mode so no more shudder when going in and out of V4 mode, less down shifting. I went from 15.4 MPG TO 16.8 same driving conditions
