This is the second time I have purchased a Superchips programmer and I couldn't be happier. First I purchased one for my 2007 Silverado after lifting it and changing the wheel and tire package. The Superchip allowed me to reprogram the truck to the appropriate settings to get an accurate speedometer read. After lifting the truck 6", the Superchip coupled with my MBRP cat back exhaust got me very close to acheiving stock MPG on my lifted performance truck. My Silverado hauls ass and gets with the program when needed. This time around, I bought a 2001 Chevy Tahoe and the 5.3L V8 felt a little lame in comparison to my 5.3L Silverado so I put the same cat back MBRP exhaust on and ordered the Superchip and I am happy. I currently have it programmed for 87 octane (given gas prices) so can't comment on the 91 octane performance modes. I am happy with the performance althought I noticed a much stronger impact on my 2007 than on my 2001. I plan to screw around a bit with the shift point options and see how my Tahoe responds. Regardless, you will always get your money's worth with a Superchips programmer.
