"Very easy install and simple set up. Immediate performance gains, driving coach reminds you to keep your foot out of the gas to improve fuel efficiency." —Brian S from Rockwall, TX bought a Bully Dog Triple Dog GT Tuner (49-State Legal) for a 2003 Chevy Tahoe.
"Just crossed 150k miles on my Black Mamba. She felt so dang tired compared to how peppy and zippy she was brand new, so I started looking for ways to improve my performance. Wasn't looking for a race car (it's a Tahoe, for pete's sake), but I wanted to be able to floor it across an intersection from a stop sign if I had to without feeling I might get hit by traffic. Superchips was able to help. I installed the Performance tuning (haven't tried the other tuning options yet) and now she's quicker off the line, has muuuuch better throttle response, shifts much harder (sometimes I even wonder if she shifts too hard and I'm hurting the transmission maybe), and I can definitely tell there's much more power throughout the entire range of RPMs. It's especially noticeable at slower speeds (at 20-50 mph increased power is certainly noticeable when I give it some gas).
Installation was a snap, followed the instructions and it took a total of about 10 minutes. When it initially started installing, my warning lights all went nuts and scared me a bit, but it all returned to normal after installation was complete.
All-in-all, I recommend this product for anyone looking for a bit more excitement and functionality. Next I'm going for the K&N performance intake." —Thomas P from Shreveport, LA bought a Superchips Cortex Programmer for a 2003 Chevy Tahoe, 5.3L V8.
"Like the unit installs is very easy, tire size isn't 100% dead on, my tires are 32.5 inches tall and had to use the 33.75 setting on the tuner to get my speedo calibrated. overall I like it very much increase in mpg in town is around 2mpg on highway depending on speed and terrain 3 to 4 mpg." —Steve C from Kingsford, MI bought a Bully Dog Triple Dog GT Tuner (49-State Legal) for a 2003 Chevy Tahoe.
"This works great.Instant noticable difference.Love the flexibilty for vehicle configuration(CAI,Modded Tranny, Catback).LOVED raising the 100 M.P.H. speed limit governor. Shifts firmer. Much better throttle response. Only issue I had was a few connictivity issues to my phone (Motorola Atrix)but once I went on Superchips forum I found the solution. I'm glad I waited until Superchips released the LinQ and didn't order the entire Vivid Paq with the Archos that's great for people without Anroid devices.Good to see that a manufacturer thought about Android users before iPhone/iPad users." —Keith H from Philadelphia, PA bought a Superchips VIVID Performance Tuner for a 2003 Chevy Tahoe, 5.3L V8.
