Bully Dog GT Platinum Tuner (49-State Legal) Reviews

My two cents

Reviewed By Braden W (BELLEVUE, NE) Reviewed for a 2003 Chevy Tahoe —6/5/2013 8:43 AM

Currently using the regular gas tune running 89 octane. Noticed more power than running stock with 89 octane. Moving acceleration increased quite a bit but I haven't noticed anything off the line but my truck was already peppy in 1st w/3.73 gears. Highway above 55mph i have noticed roughly 5mpg better mileage and city driving 45mph and under its about the same or worse mpg probably because its kicking in more fuel. Currently watching intake temp vs outside to see if a CAI is colder!

Great Tuner

This a great tuner. I installed it when I upgraded my tires from stock to 35" mud tires and my truck doesn't even feel like it has larger tires installed. Also Bully Dog tech support is nice and easy to work with.

Bully Dog BDX Tuner Reviews

IT WORKS!!!

Reviewed By Chad H (Bivins, TX) Reviewed for a 2012 Toyota Tundra —7/25/2017 8:36 PM

Very easy to use. Just follow the directions. Received the BullyDog BDX one evening and had my truck programmed the same evening. There are several settings. I only chose a couple to begin with, but noticed the extra power immediately. Ibis will it set in economy right now, but I haven't noticed a tremendous increase in mpg yet. I mainly got it for towing my camper which is 37' bumper pull and weighs 8800 pounds in the dry. So far, I am very pleased with the BDX.
