"The first thing I tried when I got this was the Performance Mode (preprogrammed in the Tuner). My only vehicle mods are K&N drop in Airfilter and a Magnaflow Exhaust. The Tuner really brought the engine to life. From the first time I stomped on the gas, the tires barely kept traction and the Trailblazer was off to the races. It really felt like a 5-door Corvette.
Next mode I tried was gas saver. Typically I get 12-13 miles per gallon. With gas saver mode, I was able to get 16.5 mpg with city and highway driving. Not too much power loss from stock when in this mode, and I can run 87 Octane! When my wife drives she will get economy mode, and when I drive, Performance mode. I can switch between them in under 3 minutes. This thing kicks Ass! Wish I got it sooner!" —Donald M from Pasadena, CA bought a Superchips Flashpaq Tuner for a 2007 Chevy Trailblazer, SS, 6.0L V8.
"I used the express performance tune. It installs quickly and I do notice a harded shift into 2nd gear and more power. It hasn't helped me with fuel economy. I will try the 87 octane tune when I go on a long trip" —David P from Aurora, IL bought a Superchips Cortex Programmer for a 2007 Chevy Trailblazer.
"Transmission shifting was the biggest improvment. I think it was the best bang for the buck out on the market today!" —Doug E from Colorado Springs, CO bought a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for a 2007 Chevy Trailblazer, 6.0L V8.
