T-1000, fuel saver

Reviewed By Francisco V (SAVANNAH, GA) Reviewed for a 2006 Chrysler 300 —12/1/2014 8:32 AM

Got the T-1000 in preparation for my trip to New Jersey from Savannah GA. I went through a couple of the different modes and the fuel saver programmer saved me a lot of money not to mention the car seemed to perform as normal. I used the 93 CAI settings and felt an immediate difference, for my trip up north I used the fuel saver didn't feel any less horsepower but I saw the numbers when I looked at how many miles to empty I got. Changing your setting is simple and takes 1 min top. HAPPY!!!!

2014 Chrysler 300 SRT8

For a handheld flasher, there are a number of useful features which I like. Firstly, there is a useful data-logger with the ability to interface with an external Wide-band O2. Second, adjustable parameters for fan temperature settings (when installing a colder thermostat), WOT fueling and WOT timing, Throttle sensitivity adjustments too. Unfortunately, the DCX reads and writes slowly, so connectivity and flash times are extremely latent. Finally, supports Custom Tuning via a professional tuner

For an '06 Jeep Commander, The jury's still out.

The unit appears to produce more horsepower from my Hemi. I have noticed a couple of MPG improvement. But, changing the settings can be tedious. Bullydog really needs to improve how one accesses the settings in a more straight forward manner. Overall, I'll keep the unit and with time, I'll like it better.
