Noticeable improvement in power and response

Reviewed By Michael G (ORLANDO, FL) Reviewed for a 2012 Dodge Charger —4/23/2013 6:56 PM

I installed both the Hypertech Interceptor Tuner and a K&N free-flowing, cold air intake kit at the same time on my 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8. Throttle response immediately improved, as did the 1-2 shift due to the Interceptor. Overall power is up resulting in tenth drop in my ad-hoc 0-60 time tests. The K&N intake produces a richer, louder engine sound when you go deep into the throttle while it's just as quiet as before when cruising. Both products are good values! AutoAnything delivered fast!

After installed it really likes all the people said the RPM pick up a little bit fast, not a lot just little bit. in my opinion is if you have the extra money to spend can go get one, but not completely worth it.

03 E53 BMW X5 M62 4.4i V8 - Cold air, Spaced, Exhaust, Dyno 302

Wow. One word to describe this product. Drive by wire (ECM MODULATED) throttle systems are awful. I miss the days of the cable and spring. The sluggish response is to be expected on today's vehicles. THIS KILLS THE PROBLEM. Feels like a real power gain (although it's smoke and mirrors) but 10 out of 10 amazing product BECAUSE OF THAT. EASY install plug and play. Feels like a 30 hp gain but it's just converting and amplifying the signal to the throttle computer. Awesome product.
