"Very easy installation. Truck seems to have gotten back the pick-up lost from installing lift and larger tires. Sounds noticably deeper through exhaust, and revs much faster. Although I don't have exact numbers, gained a little gas milage as well." —Christopher H from Virginia Beach, VA bought a Jet Performance Module for a 2004 Dodge Dakota.
"I liked how ieasy the extra 20 horses came but I wish there was some adjustment somehow. Noticed minor diferences under 3000rpm but over 3000 major differences can be felt. To happy with the chip to see if the milage increases yet but mabey someday." —Judah A from San Diego, CA bought a Jet Performance Module for a 2004 Dodge Dakota, 4.7L V8 - except the R/T.
"This my second Jet chip on a Dakota & am happy with the results. This one is a stage ll combined with K & N Intake and Gibson headers / exaust.
This combination provides a nice performance boost. Feels great!" —Frank W S from Beulah, CO bought a Jet Performance Module for a 2004 Dodge Dakota.
"Jet made all my other mods sync beautifully. My 04 Dakota with a 4.7L V8 has custom dual exhaust with Flowmasters and a Fastman throttle body with a True Flow air intake. Installed in just minutes, the Jet StageII module is hands down the easiest modification I have installed yet. Accelerating is now effortless with a strong pull from the bottom end to the top of the rev range. I have even seen an extra 25 miles per tank. Even my wife has noticed a change in engine smoothness, with less vibration. Thank you Jet and AutoAnyting." —Brandon M from Hauppauge, NY bought a Jet Performance Module for a 2004 Dodge Dakota.
"I had a Stage 2 Jet chip for my '04 Dodge Dakota 4.7L along with some minor upgrades and it made a big difference in throttle response and gas mileage.
So when I bought the SRT8 Jeep I bought the Stage 1 Jet Chip along with a Mopar intake. The Stage 1 gives better throttle response in automatic mode. I do not notice any gas mileage gains. Overall I like it but I wish it would be more noticable; the important thing to mention is that 15-20hp on top of 450 is not as noticable as 15-20hp on top of 250, so maybe that is why it is not as noticable on the SRT8.
Once I get a lower thermostat I will buy the Stage 2 for the SRT" —Cyrille S from Palo Alto, CA bought a Jet Performance Module for a 2004 Dodge Dakota, SRT-8, 6.1L Hemi.
"is a good performance chip but didn't give as much of a performance boost as expected.have an increase of mpg but when came to throttle response throughout the range was just a little better than normal.used to have an older style dakota and i replaced the actual ecm which i saw was far more better." —Heath W from North Charleston, SC bought a Jet Performance Module for a 2004 Dodge Dakota, 4.7L V8 - except the R/T.
"I have 2004 dodge dakota with 3.7 engine. I bought the jet chip mainly to try and increase mpg. I wasn't expecting a real differance in perf but I was really suprised, throttle response is way better, the trans shifts alot better which is a big plus on a dodge. Vehicle accelerates to 60-70 mph with alot less effort which should increase mpg but I have not calculated mpg's yet. Overall I am very pleased with the chip for the price." —William H from Belton, TX bought a Jet Performance Module for a 2004 Dodge Dakota, 3.7L V6.
