I lifted my durango up 5 inches and putt 33x12.50 mud tires on it and it really dogged it down especially in the mud and hills... It had the 5.2L bbut still really doggy.. Put this in and put it on performance... I can sit there and roast the tires now :) Love it ...

'99 Durango enhanced performance with JET

Reviewed By Luis G (San Juan, PR) Reviewed for a 1999 Dodge Durango —5/13/2007 5:15 AM

I have a '99 Durango 4x4, 5.9L, with 160,576 miles on the clock. I had the Stage I JET Performance Module before and it lasted more that 8 years after, working perfectly, until it just started to malfunction, so I replaced it with this new Stage II Jet Module. It have been installed, already, for two weeks and I am getting excellent performance. The range of a full tank of gas went up from 220 to 250 gallons (close to 15 MPG!!)and the torque and pull of the 5500 lbs SUV is very notizable when you floor the pedal. I like to drive fast & furious and have reached top speed of 118 MPH, limited by the heavy drag at that speed. Definitely, these Jet Performance modules are outstanding and they give what they advertize. I recomend them very highly. Luis

know what to expect

Reviewed By Chris V (Gainesville, FL) Reviewed for a 2006 Dodge Durango —3/7/2014 6:05 AM

my overall satisfaction is a bit low, but that's not the programmers fault, it's Nissan. they limit the parameters that can be adjusted a LOT. At the end of the day, the only noticeable improvement was throttle restriction. Nissan limits percent of throttle open below 60mpg, which makes stomping on it no fun. However, with that restriction released, I can now get 100% from dead stop...makes a much more exhilarating take off. On performance mode, I seemed to have lost some MPG, but that's the price. If you have ford, gm, chevy, this thing can do quite a bit more.
