Great tool for the job

Reviewed By Jimmy N (Rutheron, NM) Reviewed for a 2014 Dodge Ram —6/25/2015 6:39 PM

After getting rid of the performance robbing 20-inch wheels and tires and installing base model 245/70R17s, the speedo needed correction. Knowing the exact percentage of the change unfortunately doesn't help, so it's a bit of trial and error to get it right since tire height is the only usable criterion. With 30.6 inch tires, and no static loaded radius data, I guessed and used 30 inches. Very, very close. Tried with 30.25", but went back to 30, which is quick and easy with the Hypertech.

Awesome tune-up

Reviewed By John L (Worcester, MA) Reviewed for a 2011 Dodge Ram —6/19/2015 3:54 PM

I've had my truck for 4 years now. First I tried one of those "JET" chips and I wasn't satisfied, didn't do much for performance and I actually lost MPG. I've had a Superchips tuner before when I had a Dodge Charger and I knew I had to go back. What a difference. I tuned for 93 octane, raised the rev limiter to 6200 and turned up the shift points. Now my RAM runs like it's supercharged...really! Can't believe the difference and no lost MPG. Well worth the money.
