Superchips Flashpaq Tuner Reviews

Superchips Flashpaq

I bought this tuner primarily to increase my gas mileage. I'm getting a solid 2-4 MPG better on the highway. In town there isn't a noticeable change. The 91 octane performance tune isn't much faster than the economy setting, but both are noticeably better than stock. Overall I would recommend this product.

Hypertech Max Energy Programmer Reviews

Easy improvement

I was surprised how much more power this has given my 2002 dodge cummins. I have it set on the #2 setting and it has definitely made a difference. MPG has also gone from average of 18 up to 22. This is mostly mountain driving and pulling trailers. An easy, fairly cheap upgrade. I kwould highly recommend it!!

Superchips Cortex Programmer Reviews

ease of use

Reviewed By Joe R (Overbrook, KS) Reviewed for a 2002 Dodge Ram —5/5/2011 5:11 AM

I have previously purchased a superchips cortex for my Dodge truck and was pleased with the increase in power so I ordered one for my wife's Durango. When it arrived I challenged my wife to use the programmer and program her vehicle herself. My wife knows enough to check the oil and tire pressure, put the key in, start the vehicle and put it into gear to drive and that is it. She wasn't sure that she could do it but agreed to try. She unpacked the cortex programmer, read the instructions, went to her vehicle and in about 25-30 minuets had it reprogramed to max performance with 87 octane gas. She was very proud of herself. The very next day she drove her Durango to the airport (70 miles away) and called me to tell me her mileage went up 1.5 miles per gallon and it ran super. Now she is really proud of her accomplishment. The cortex is kind of expensive but will pay for itself in short order with gas prices as high as they are. Money well spent!
