"Great buy, works great. don"t know if I gained any on fuel mileage just installed. Set power on level 2. Noticed more power trans shifts smoother. Easy to install but no smoke. I like that, because it means that the fuel and air are just right and not wasting any fuel, but still get the power you need!" —Carlton C from , bought a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for a 2002 Dodge Ram.
"02 Dodge Ram 3500 with a 5.9L Gas Engine. The programmer was very easy to use. I plugged it in and it walked me through the entire process. Their tech support was great with an overall summary on what to expect with my vehicle. I should have purchased this product sooner. I cannot believe how easy it was to install and in one week and a tank of gas, I have noticed at least a 10% increase in fuel mileage." —Robert R from Vacaville, CA bought a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for a 2002 Dodge Ram.
"My flashpaq works great and made a significant difference." —Joe S from Rome, NY bought a Superchips Flashpaq Tuner for a 2002 Dodge Ram.
"Performance mode is great its like having a new truck. much more power and even sounds more aggressive. Just a touch of the throttle and it goes. Feels like the old 5.9liter. On gas saver mode I have only noticed about 2mpg overall. On the HWY maybe 3.5-4mpg. Not bad for ony $340 bucks. very easy to install program, all menu driven" —Philip E from Rio Rico, AZ bought a Superchips Flashpaq Tuner for a 2002 Dodge Ram.

"I'm not a "car guy", I have been modifying my '02 Ram 1500 4.7 for shits & giggles - probably to flip it. As far as I have seen my truck now runs better than any other 4.7 models that I have seen, and I work for Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge/Ram. This programmer makes the transition from 1st to 2nd gear more ummm "manly", It gets up & on it a little quicker. The rpm's are much more responsive as well. I so far, have only done the 'quick tune' feature. I would like to play around with some of the settings & options more to see if I get different results. Overall - B" —Joseph D from Apple Valley, CA bought a Superchips Flashpaq Tuner for a 2002 Dodge Ram.
"the only problem i had was the tuner showed an error code E-43. Which means that the vehicle file is not stock. So I called superchips and they fixed the error by putting an update on the internet undateable tuner and after i updated the flashpaq it worked very well.. Also a bonus was free next day delivery on this product." —Aaron J from North Las Vegas, NV bought a Superchips Flashpaq Tuner for a 2002 Dodge Ram.
"This is my second Hypertech my first was on a F-150 gas burner, I bought a 02 Dodge 2500 with a 5.9 cummings to tow my 5th wheel camper 12000 lbs.I installed my programmer in the stage two program for towing and was plesantly surprised in increase in fuel milage 6 mpg, now i get 25mph easly, and the power is unreal, I havent hooked to my camper yet but am sure there wont be a problem, This is by far the best investment i have made this year,at the price of fuel going up,my programmer will pay for it self in less than 10 tanks of fuel, then the savings are mine to pocket,PS i sold my other programmer for what i paid for it,they hold their value,You cant go wrong with a Hypertech" —Charles N from Prattville, AL bought a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for a 2002 Dodge Ram.
"I should have gone searching for one of these a while ago! Actually, it was for a competitor that I went searching, but they didn't have a program for my 2002 truck. So, I took a chance on Hypertech and found it was exactly what I needed. Now, I have a "spunky" diesel truck, and have gained 7 MPG. At today's prices, I can handle that." —Carl O from Patuxent River, MD bought a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for a 2002 Dodge Ram.
"I purchase the Hypertech Nax Energy Programer to get more MPG.The Rep at Autoanything said 3 to 4 MPG increase. I have seen1-1 1/2 MPG increase by calculating my MPG. If you go by the in truck computer it shows 2 to 3 MPG in stage 1. In stage 3 the power is Great and the MPG is about the same as with out the tune. I have not tried the stage 2 yet but will on the next tank. Hope that it will show better MPG.My truck is a 2002 Dodge Ramm 2500 Cummins." —Jim C from Council Bluffs, IA bought a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for a 2002 Dodge Ram.
