Hypertech Max Energy Programmer Reviews

99 Dodge Cummins 4x4

Reviewed By Pete M (Frazier Park, CA) Reviewed for a 1999 Dodge Ram —2/26/2014 9:10 AM

WOW! Here's the facts. I programmed my old Dodge Cummins 4x4 automatic trans to stage three. This truck is only used for towing and the FAQs reccommended stage 3. My previous towing milage was 14.6 mpg while towing 5000 lbs. Reprogrammed I got 21.4 mpg towing at 55mph on cruise, and 21.6 mpg towing at 60mph. This was towing over a 1200' grade during a 200 mile round trip. Milage while not towing is about the same, 22.4 mpg as opposed to the previous 18 mpg. I now cruise up hills the truck used to struggle on with excellent throttle response. My only regret about buying the Hypertech Energy Max is that I didn't buy it years ago and save myself thousands by now.

Hypertech HyperPAC Reviews

good all around programer

The hypertech hyperpac is great. it is very easy to use and to install. just plug it in and follow the on screen instructions. it moitors a good bit of stuff and the gauges work great. It has alot of different gauge settings. the programer is good. It gave my truck extra power. there is a little bit of smoke on the first setting and a good bit of smoke on the third setting! the only bad thing is that it takes a few minites to cange the power settings. but it a good programer for beginners.

Hypertech Speedometer Calibrator Reviews

Did exactly as it said it would

Reviewed By Kevin K (Sussex, WI) Reviewed for a 2014 Dodge Ram —8/27/2015 3:54 AM

With having larger after market tires on the truck and checking my speed with my GPS, I was moving 4 MPH slower than my speedometer was reading. After a couple of programming attempts to dial in my tire size so my speedometer would match my GPS. I am very happy with the results. Now my truck runs a lot better, transmission shifts better, and PMG improved.
