Great Boost for under $400

Reviewed By Matt M (Denville, NJ) Reviewed for a 2008 Ford Escape —2/24/2009 8:50 PM

Where else can you set you pick up to run of 91 oct. Well 93 most places don't have 91. But you create a lot more power that way. You're burning cleaner and more efficiently which is was truly allows the programmer to be such a boost. I don't recommend everyone trying this but on performance mode I can chirp my tires in 3rd, something that was not an option before this mod. I have K&N CAI, DT Header, SuperChip, and a custom exhaust with high flow cats. Im quite happy with the way the Superchip really compliment all other mods.

It does exactly what I bought it for

Reviewed By Colt C (Harrington, DE) Reviewed for a 2014 Chevy Silverado —11/10/2017 2:46 PM

I bought this to turn off the afm on my truck and it does exactly that. I have also been able to read an engine code with it already as well and worked great. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because it seems to mess with the truck electronics while installing the tune (dash lights flashing, service stabletrak), which I don't know if its normal or not but worries me, so I will just stick with the stock tune with the afm disabled. Autoanything was extremely helpful with the purchase.

TD@ in 2008 Rubicon

Reviewed By Michael H (Bothell, WA) Reviewed for a 2008 Jeep Wrangler —8/7/2017 9:26 PM

Does a lot of cool things, Was a little disappointed that it has no control of the Rubicon sway bar disconnect, as some reviews state. It will turn off the warning light it the user has bypassed it in some other manner. In addition, locker control seems to be there in 2wd and 4 hi also, but in mine, I have to be stopped to engage the lockers with the td2. The switch allows locking while moving, but only in 4low. I have had the td2 lock up a few times and require a power cycle to reset.
