Hypertech Max Energy Programmer Reviews

Too early to tell

Reviewed By Michael B (Saint Paul, MN) Reviewed for a 2003 Ford Expedition —5/10/2011 5:20 PM

noticeable power gains, although nothing huge. Only one tank of gas so far, but appears tune is in a learning stage and MPG seemed to improve with the second half tank of gas. only .4 mpg gain from stock , but hoping for better with the second tank.

Superchips Flashpaq Tuner Reviews

As expected

Reviewed By Michael T (HIGH SHOALS, NC) Reviewed for a 2004 Ford Expedition —12/25/2013 9:13 PM

My 2004 Expedition 5.4 (2v) loves gas, I love power. My Flashpaq done just as I expected, I recommend that after you toy around with various tunes that you revert to Stock with option 16 on 1-2,2-3,3-4 valve body pressures and highest RPM shifts 1-2,2-3,3-4. From what I discovered, the performance tune will in fact decrease gas mileage while the economy tunes 87 will in fact increase gas mileage. I love the firm shift and higher RPM shifts that my tranny now experiences. LOVE IT.

Hypertech Max Energy E-CON Reviews

Pleased with the Hypertech ECON

Reviewed By Robert T (Vidor, TX) Reviewed for a 2011 Ford Expedition —8/29/2013 8:04 AM

I was very pleased with the E-CON. I installed it on my wife's 2011 Expedition. I wasn't concerned about the 40 extra horses, but bought it to improve my mileage. I checked the mileage on several trips without it and then with it. By the vehicles mileage indicator, at 70 mph on cruise, I got a 2 mph increase, from 20 to 22mpg. What surprise me was at 75, the mileage went from 18 to 21.5mpg. If you put the pencil to it, the E-CON will pay for itself within 10,000 highway miles.
