"Very easy to use really liked the option of being able to adjust shift points and shift pressures can't wait to hook my enclosed trailer up to see how it performs. Seems to be very good product for the money." —Gregory H from Hettinger, ND bought a Superchips Flashpaq Tuner for a 2002 Ford F-150.
"The cortex does exactly what you want it to do. I love the power gain from it. Just wish the display was a little better" —Craig M from Center Moriches , NY bought a Superchips Cortex Programmer for a 2002 Ford F-150, 5.4L V8.
"I have the 5.4 f150 only other mods are cat back flowmaster original 40 series and a k&n filter. This took about 5 min. to install at first I thought it was amazing when I was only running on level 1 or 2 but then when I filled her up with 93 and put it on level 3, it was unbelieveable. Before my truck felt like it couldn't get out of its own way... now it feels like when I hook it up it feels like it is going to pull my trailer out from under my snowmobiles hahaha... the shift firmness etc is one of my favs. It really has made it a completely new truck. Would reccomend for everyone. If you are even considering getting it.. just do it you will be happy you did. I am" —Jeffrey C from Melrose, MA bought an Edge Evolution Programmer for a 2002 Ford F-150, 5.4L V8.
"This product looks good. The grey mounting pod matches my dash perfectly. Total time to install was only five minutes. The effects of this programmer are INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!! I would recomend this product to anyone looking for value in a power upgrade." —David H from Oak Harbor, WA bought an Edge Evolution Programmer for a 2002 Ford F-150, 5.4L V8.
"My battery died first time I hook this tuner up. My data link/cig lighter fuse was blown so that may have been part of the reason it drained my battery but not sure. Plus it was an original Ford battery from an '02. After putting a new fuse and battery everything worked well and it takes about 5 minutes to go through the menus and about 10 minutes to program it to your truck. Shift changes are stronger and full throttle shifts and the revs I jacked up a little to +200 and I hit near 5000 RPMs before changing gears. Fun to floor it but gas is so expensive right now. I have a K & N intake and dual flo exhaust." —Derek V from Metairie, LA bought a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for a 2002 Ford F-150, 5.4L V8.
"First unit I received did not work right out of the box. Took 8 or 9 days to get a hold of Edge Tech support as their hours coincide very nicely with the day workers work schedule. After many emails (and one that even said hmmmmm, got me not sure whats going on...wow what great tech support)somewhere around 6-8 and 6 times via phone I finally got a person who shipped me a new unit after I explained to him that I tried the programmer on 2 other trucks and it worked on neither, and now it is everything I expected. Gas mileage went from 11.1 to 15.3 (not by the programmers calculation but my calculation using mileage and gallons purchased to fill it up) programmer says 16.5." —Nathan V from Brillion, WI bought an Edge Evolution Programmer for a 2002 Ford F-150, 5.4L V8.
"This was a great programmer for the 4.6 V8 in the truck. I could really feel an increase in low end torque which is great when i tow my trailer. but best of all my mileage increased 3 miles per gallon but gets better every highway trip!!!" —Andrew P from Shawnee, KS bought a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for a 2002 Ford F-150, 4.6L V8.
"Easy to install and program. It's like driving a different truck. Fuel milage has increased almost 2 mpg.Very pleased with the Edge Evolution. Thanks Jason" —Jason C from Crossville, TN bought an Edge Evolution Programmer for a 2002 Ford F-150, 5.4L V8.
