"I love my new Edge programmer, it would be better if before you bought it if they told you that you had to run a higher octane fuel for stage 3 of the programmer, other than that it has gotten me 2-3 more miles to the gallon. I love the way it looks and how easy it was to install, everyone that looks at it says it looks factory. I recommed this Edge programmer to anyone that is thinking of buying one. It was a great Christmas gift to recieve." —Brittany A from Corning, OH bought an Edge Evolution Programmer for a 2006 Ford F-250.
"I had the unit installed two days before driving from Denver to Seattle towing 6000 pounds. I had the Edge in the Tow / Haul mode for a day and then decided to put it back to stock to see if I got better MPG. After 30 miles, I pulled over and switched back to Tow / Haul... Damn the MPG, the power and firm shifts were amazing!I hate it took this long to purchase my Edge!" —Ronnie L from Aurora, CO bought an Edge Evolution Programmer for a 2006 Ford F-250.
"Easy to install and looks good, blends in perfect as far as color and style goes. Still getting familiar with the unit and to this point only using the different gage displays. The only minus I found so far was the pod installation, have to find some good industrial velcro that will adhere to the pod and dash better then the supplied pads.John" —John E from Saint Clair Shores, MI bought an Edge Evolution Programmer for a 2006 Ford F-250.
"Ordering from AutoAnything was easy and the delivery of the Edge from AutoAnything was outstanding, overnight means overnight. Ordered at 5pm and had it in my hands next day by 2pm. GREAT JOB!! Had no problems installing the Edge, Took about an hour. Only problem was Ford had flashed my trucks PCM 1 week earlier with all new program codes and Edge hadn't written a download yet to rewrite fords new PMC flash. It took just over a week for Edge to get the new program written and tested. Just to advise everyone that if you encounter a problem on a weekend, they are closed and there is no one to help or advise you. This I found a little disappointing. Finally got the program downloaded today and I've only programmed power setting #2 but it sure woke the Powerstroke up. Awesome power difference. Did the 60 mph test and it took 4 sec. off my time. Worth waiting for." —Gary B from East Aurora, NY bought an Edge Evolution Programmer for a 2006 Ford F-250.
"I had a Bully Dog setup and it stopped working. I cut that out and installed the Hypertech. First go around it said it did not take. I tried a second time and install was a success. I am running stage one. It is the least powerful of the three stages, but you still notice a difference. It did not correct my speedometer like it claims and I have not noticed any better fuel mileage. I installed before I drove from NC to FL and there was no improvement in fuel mileage." —Shane A from Stedman, NC bought a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for a 2006 Ford F-250.
"wow what a difference it made to my truck and now I'm getting better fuel mileage finally an actual product that works" —Andrew S from Joppa, IL bought a Superchips Cortex Programmer for a 2006 Ford F-250.
"I installed the level 3 program. I immediately noted improvement in low end. I passed CO emmissions test two days after reprogramming! I then took a camping trip into the rocky mountains hauling gear for 24 scouts. To the mountains I had an increase of 4MPG!! Going up into the mountains I was even with my usual flat land mpg. When I started trying out the added power, as expected, the mpg went down by about 2 mpg but it was fun! I have a trip across the country and back at the end of the month. If the mpg numbers stay the same it will pay for itself on the trip." —David M from Broomfield, CO bought a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for a 2006 Ford F-250.
"What a difference it make in horse power and MPG. I set it on stage 3 and it has quick throttle response and get up and go. I get about 7 more miles to the gallon driving moderately. So far, a great product. I have a 2006 F250 Super Duty, 6.0 turbo." —Evelyn K from Gaffney, SC bought a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for a 2006 Ford F-250.
"I put this on my 2006 F250 6.0 Diesel. I wasn't real sure what to expect, but wow. it took me 10min to install. i went with the quick tune (Performance). got out on the road and broke the tires loose. this tuner is worth the money and is very easy to use. looking forward to trying out the other tuning options" —Dennis L from Austin, TX bought a Superchips Flashpaq Tuner for a 2006 Ford F-250.
"WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE IT MAKE YOU CAN NOT BELIEVE IT UNTIL YOU TRY IT!!!" —Ronnie M from Helotes, TX bought a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for a 2006 Ford F-250.
"I Purchased this programmer for my 06 F250 with the 6.0L Powerstroke. A 4 year old could probobly install this unit without much hassle. The fit and finish is about a 8/10 since the pod doesn't quite conform 100% to the dash. Here's what you should be aware of if you have a 6.0L F250. If you or a previous owner ever had a different programmer on the vehicle it is quite possible you will need to have the PCM flashed or send the PCM in to Edge to have the correct non-factory files in the computer. Make sure you contact Edge tech support if you have any issues as they are helpful and friendly(they really know their products). I needed to send my PCM to Edge to have them reconfigure the stock program before the Evolution would work. Edge paid for next day business with UPS so I was without the truck for only 3 days. The programmer, now that it is operational is an excellent device. Fuel Economy mode increased fuel economy 1-2 MPG's(I also installed an intake) and the Extreme setting has the power to roast the tires off." —Patrick L from Daleville, AL bought an Edge Evolution Programmer for a 2006 Ford F-250.
