"not being computor savey getting started could have been easier but overall after updating system plugging it in and installation only required pushing a few buttons when asked.istalled the 93 octane settings, preformance gains where noticable from the start, not sure an any fuel milage gains yet due to playing with the extra power gains. yes i would say the gains are worth the costs. thanks" —Jack T from Ringgold, GA bought a Superchips Flashpaq Tuner for a 2011 Ford Mustang.
"The Cortex Superchip is an excellant way to improve your vechicles performance and milage 'if you take it easy".
It gave my Mustang V-6 20 more bhp and 24 ft.lbs. of torque. Along with a performance
air filter that I purchased thru Autoanything.com a
total of approx. 30+ more hp. My car "Awesome" pick-up!
Autoanything thanks for your advise, you rule." —Richard B from Martinsville, NJ bought a Superchips Cortex Programmer for a 2011 Ford Mustang, 3.7L V6.
"Pretty easy to use. Not too much of an instructional manual for all the different features. It did increase the horse power on my mustang. It does cause my mustang to idle higher for longer periods of time. Over-all a good product I feel to increase HP." —Jeffrey D from Sparta, MO bought a DiabloSport inTune I-1000 Tuner for a 2011 Ford Mustang, 5.0L V8.
"Instruction sheet easy to use, tuner also very easy to connect and use in car. Easy stock tune backup. Loading a custom tune very easy . Experimented with tweaking a tune and found it simple. My performance noticeably enhanced, gas mileage has also improved by 1 - 2 MPG. DiabloSport indicated that they were thinking about selling a multi-vehicle license for the inTune device! I want that for my wife's car - But not willing to buy a 2nd tuner." —Michael M from Middle River, MD bought a DiabloSport inTune I-1000 Tuner for a 2011 Ford Mustang.
"I purchased a Hypertech "chip" several years ago for one of my Mustang GTs and was happy with it so after reading reviews of several brands I decided to try it again. I haven't had it long enough to determine gas mileage gains but it doesn't appear to be detrimental (if I can keep my foot out of it). I especially like the fact I can eliminate the "skip shift" feature (under light to moderate acceleration the factory car computer forces a 1st gear to 4th upshift) that is so frustrating. I installed the Hypertech with a cold air intake so my gains in power may be due to both. I used to get a chirp going into 3rd, now can get the car sideways! Cold driveability has decreased but that could be a factor of the intake, and it smooths out when warmed up. I would probably buy this again." —Daniel A from Westbrook, ME bought a Hypertech Max Energy Programmer for a 2011 Ford Mustang.
